I'll say that with the private commits we have a top 10 class and would have a top 3 class with the guys we feel really good about. so our recruiting is fine right now.
He's one of the only "insiders" I believe might be legit.
He has very good sources, from people that I trust.

Huntington (WV) Spring Valley offensive lineman Doug Nester said earlier this summer that he hoped to move forward with his recruitment process soon, and the 2019 prospect was not joking around. The nation's No. 48 overall recruit according to 247Sports, Nester released his top five this afternoon and it included Alabama, Florida, Ohio State, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia.
Nester, who is approaching twenty offers, says he is "just going to focus on these five schools" moving forward. He holds a four-star, 94-rating in the 247Sports Composite as the nation's No. 6 offensive tackle in 2019. His Crystal Ball is split between Ohio State (67-percent) and West Virginia (33-percent).

2019 RB Tyrion Davis committed to LSU.
He was the RB we offered at camp, then they offered even though he attended their camp the day before and didn't give him one.

Sounds like we are likely in very good shape with Latu. I don't know, though, who could commit right now at LB (assuming that's where we're recruiting him for) other than Peterson and obviously Walker. He may be at the top of the board for all I know, though.

I'm in North Carolina currently. Should I pay a visit to Zamir White on behalf of the REC?

The nation's No. 1 junior college tight end, Dominick Wood-Anderson, has set a commitment date of Aug. 1, the Arizona Western College product announced on Twitter Monday.
Wood-Anderson told BamaOnLine last week that Alabama, Louisville, Oregon, Texas, and Utah were his top five.
The one-time Tide lean visited Tuscaloosa in April after which he named Alabama his leader with a commitment appearing imminent. A few weeks later a trip to Oregon gave the Ducks the edge. The 6-foot-5, 250-pounder took an official visit to Texas this past weekend, which now appears to have put the Longhorns more seriously in the mix as well.
Unless another visit is scheduled, the Tide will have Wood-Anderson on campus with his mother last on July 21 when he uses his official visit ahead of his decision.
“I already seen everything,” he told BamaOnLine last week. “Now it’s just getting my mom to see everything, talks to the coaches and get to know them more.”
Alabama is expected to only take one tight end in the 2018 class. Recently four-star prospect Luke Ford named UA his leader coming off a Saturday visit.
Wood-Anderson is rated the No. 1 junior college tight end and the No. 7 overall junior college player in the country.
The Crystal Ball continues to favor Oregon with Texas receiving the latest prediction.
The San Diego native has three years of eligibility to play two at the next level.

Jordan Davis maintains he’s 100 percent committed
Jordan Davis, a 4-star outside linebacker from Southwind High School (Memphis, Tenn.) per 247Sports, visited Tennessee over the weekend for the Volunteers’ “Orange Carpet Day,” which is their big recruiting event.
Davis made some headlines with his interviews with Tennessee reporters when he said he wants to see what other schools have to offer him. But the longtime Alabama commit took to Twitter on Monday to quell any concern Crimson Tide fans may have about the status of his commitment.
The 6-foot-5, 238-pound prospect has said for quite sometime that he’s locked in with Alabama, despite his desire to continue to see other schools.
“It’s so different from other schools, and I can tell you that for a fact,” Davis said earlier this year. “It’s straight business there, and I love it. When it comes to football, it’s strictly business there and competing for national championships. I like winning.”
The Under Armour All-American has also developed a very good relationship with outside linebackers coach Tosh Lupoi. Davis considers Lupoi a father figure.
“Coming from my background with a single parent, it really means a lot to have his support. My mom does everything for me. It really shows me that I can have someone other than my mom to talk to about things. I know Coach Lupoi has my back.”
I don’t think there’s much to worry about when it comes to Davis de-committing. I have never gotten the vibe from him that he’ll seriously consider other schools.

Dominick Wood-Anderson‘s commitment date is good for Alabama
Dominick Wood-Anderson, the nation’s No. 1 junior college tight end from Arizona Western College (Yuma, Ariz.), will announce his commitment on Aug. 1. That’s very good news for the Crimson Tide because he’ll take an official visit to Tuscaloosa on July 21.
The weekend Wood-Anderson is visiting will be during Alabama’s Champions Cookout, an invite-only event. That is one of the team’s most important recruiting events as it usually gets the majority of its top targets all in one place.
With Wood-Anderson, the team’s top tight end target, making a commitment roughly one week after that visit, the Crimson Tide’s chances of landing him are good. As of now, there are no visits from Wood-Anderson scheduled for the weekend of July 28, so Alabama will be the last school he visits if things hold. One would think that after that trip to Tuscaloosa, the Tide will have positive momentum in his recruitment.
The 6-5, 245-pound prospect visited Tuscaloosa for three days in early April. This time around, he’ll bring his mother along for the trip, too. The nation’s No. 7 junior college prospect has told SEC Country that Alabama, Louisville, Oregon, Texas and Utah compose his top 5. From that group, he has only taken visits to Alabama, Oregon and Texas.
Alabama has made a good impression on the JUCO prospect.
“It’s somewhere where I’m going to come in and make an immediate impact and somewhere that’s going to give me the best shot to be a top 5 tight end in the country my first year and be a top 20 draft pick after my second year,” Wood-Anderson said.
Wood-Anderson has three years of eligibility to play two when he transfers to an FBS school.
It should be noted, 4-star tight end Luke Ford told SEC Country over the weekend that Alabama is his leader. Ford isn’t planning on making a commitment anytime soon. The plan for the team is to take one tight end this cycle after landing two in the Class of 2017. If Wood-Anderson commits, would the team take Ford, too? That’s an unknown right now.
I'd rather land Ford if I'm being honest.

Mark Pope grew up an Alabama fan
There was a stretch in 2016 where one of the nation’s most explosive wide receivers had Alabama on top of his recruitment. But then Mario Cristobal left for Oregon and communication between Alabama and Mark Pope fell off.
Pope, a 4-star prospect from Miami (Fla.) Southridge High School, committed to Miami earlier this year. 247Sports’ No. 2 wide receiver in the Class of 2018 told SEC Country that if Alabama decided to reach back out to him, he would listen.
“If [wide receivers coach Mike Locksley] hits me up, I would definitely talk back,” Pope said. “That’s my favorite college team. I grew up an Alabama fan. The way they treat their receivers — I just like everything about them. They win so many games and championships.”
The 6-foot, 170-pound prospect said he doesn’t remember the last time Locksley or any Alabama staff member reached out to him. Before Cristobal left, Pope was one of the team’s top slot receiver targets. That list has since shifted toward 4-star prospects Jacob Copeland and Jaylen Waddle. Alabama is in good shape for both of them.
Even though Pope said he’d listen to Alabama’s sales pitch, he said he’s set with the Hurricanes. It’s the team both of his parents support.
“I’m 100 percent committed to Miami,” Pope said. “Nothing will really change. I am going to take my visits, though. But, I don’t even know what other schools can do at this point, to be honest with you. I will have to get another look at the depth chart for the receivers if I was to consider any of them.”
Sorry Mark, but you're way down the board and we just signed three WRs better than you. Good luck in Miami.

So happy to have Robert Foster become what we always wanted. Still don't know why he isn't given a shot at PR.
I can't wait to see what he and Calvin can combine to accomplish

I am in the same boat. Sometimes these guys have to become team players(just the rumors) before they can attain what they truly want at Bama.
