I know nothing specifically about the Langham situation, yet, though. I do know that Beal has vaulted WAYYYYYYY up the board. Don't shoot the messenger here, but a very well connected individual (who all here would be familiar with) said that the DL pecking order was 1.Brown 2.Beal 3.Langham.

I don't believe it. Beal feels like a back-up option. Not saying he sucks, but taking a 3-star TE as a DE sounds like a desperation move. No excuse for this staff not to land Brown and Langham tomorrow.

I don’t think we cooled or cooling on him, just maybe he don’t want us. Be interested to hear what your source says. Also hard to believe Beal hasn’t had a committable offer all this time and now he is #2 on list . Come on

He should take that fire into the 2019 recruiting cycle as well, particularly at DL and DB. He got complacent this year and had too many less than stellar recruiters on staff.

Actually a very similar skill set to DEs Saban has taken over the years.

There are a couple guys on BOL saying Beal moved ahead of Langham on our DL board.

Maybe it is true

Looks like we have room for both, why not just take both?

If we don't sign Langham, it almost certainly won't be because we missed on him. I sure hope we take him, though. They are supposedly enamored with Beal right now. Not sure what it means for Langham yet.

Man Langham has soo much potential it sucks if we turned him away. Hell tell Moody we don't have a spot we signed five LBs last year.

No clue. Glass half full, maybe we feel really good about some other recruits higher than Langham on the board.

Or, maybe Merlins beat out Nick for a recruit

I’d much rather take the in-state kid when it’s close, but what separates Beal and Langham in people’s mind?

They were both rated much closer together until December. And people saw Langham more as an OT up until that point.

It seems most of the melt is over star gazing.

So from reading the last few pages I take it the situation is fluid, and that fluid is diarrhea.

Well, now Rodney Orr is saying we're going to let Beal get a chance at TE first. So my head is spinning out of control. Who knows what's going on.

Whatever happens tomorrow will happen.

I hate it when people ( not necessarily you 3714, talking about mods and such try to cover and say we cooled or someone was higher on our board etc. As a coach, sometimes you just get your arse beat
