There are three scholarship WB all of whom can play and have success at Alabama.

1. Mac Jones hasn't proven that AT ALL.

2. The possibility that Jalen could transfer (or want a position change) is out there.

Not taking a QB in this class is an option, but to me it's not a great option. There are too many unknowns.

I realize that we'd probably have had more success over the past decade had we recruited the state harder, but unfortunately the staff has decided to go after the best available players. We just have to deal with the results.

Dang, I always miss out on something.

It was an honest mistake and a ton of good info. I asked him to delete after I read the whole thing

In my uneducated opinion I want Brock Purdy much more than James Foster based on film.

I liked Purdy better than the Princeton kid.

Me too.

Purdy has the swagger you want in a QB.

If he was 2 inches taller he would be a top 100 prospect.

What do y'all think is our page count ceiling for the thread?

1200?

1300?

We have 5 days left.

I'm not being a dick but I'd like to know your thoughts on why you feel that way.

Potential?
Film?
Size?
In-state preference?

There's no wrong answer so unload on me. I genuinely would like to know.

I've debated bringing this to the thread because it's not recruiting related, but frick it, I'm doing it anyway.

So my 11 year old came home from school today (Prattville, duh) and told my wife and me that he has a "wax museum" costume project due some time in the near future.

Basically he has to dress up as a historical figure, along with his classmates, for some deal they are having.

He wanted to be Nicola Tesla but he was already taken. He was sick the day the other kids were given their selections so there were only 3 options left.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say that his teacher made the picks for the kids, not the kids themselves.

So today his teacher (an Auburn grad) made his selection for him.

Who did she give him?

Adolf fricking Hitler.

Am I wrong to be pissed about this?

Who in their right mind would make a 6th grader in Alabama dress up like Hitler for an assignment?

How fricking crazy is that?

Taking a QB is a must. We don’t know what Jalen wants to do, Mack Jones is a complete unknown and before we get carried away, we’ve seen Tua play 35 minutes of meaningful football. I’m a Tua fan and the small sample is tantalizing but we still really don’t know much.

Holy shite

I don't blame you for being pissed off. Teachers shouldn't make kids dress up like mass murderers. Holy shite. Imagine if you have a flat or something on the way to school or have to go by the store. Ya'll would be viral in no time because you "let" your kid dress up as lil Hitler. Do teachers not think about this shite?

Also, did she just look at the class and think, "I bet his family has some spare swastikas laying around". This has disaster written all over it blur his face and post pics

I like his size, athleticism and his film. He didn't play well at the All Star game but he did well at the elite 11 and his film shows that he can throw. Think that about time he touches the field(3,4 years maybe never). He could be a weapon.

I'm posting this because it had a happy ending.

Recently here in Chapel Hill some kid wanted to do that as his own choice but no way in hell they were going to let him. Even the school board I believe got involved.

My thoughts exactly.

I didn't believe him when he told me.

How anyone could possibly think this was a good idea is mind boggling to me.

I'm calling her on Monday and demanding a change. I told him he could dress up as Bear Bryant instead. He said "what if she says he wasn't an important enough historical figure" for the project and I responded with "he should be with as much Auburn arse that he whipped."

Tell the bitch that you're out of swastikas but you can round up some clean sheets if he can change it to the kkk. See if that comparison kinda makes her realize how shitty this idea is
