I used to listen to a recruiting podcast and it was good but the so called recruit insider seemed like a total d-bag. He seemed like he had all kinds of illegal and weird things going on. Anyone else listen to it and does it still exist?

I don't remember what that particular update was, but the most interesting thing to me in today's Nuggets is that we're still in it for Tyson Campbell. I had, perhaps wrongfully, written him off to Georgia. Seems we're still involved pretty heavily.

Jamey Newburg? He was a total dork. Had a tv recruiting show and one night he announced that David Paine would sign with Tennessee or Georgia, I can't remember which. The next day Paine signed with Alabama and I reminded Newburg of that on a live chat at Bamamag forum. He flat denied that he said that, though several people said "yes you did".
He hates Alabama.

Even though we may still be in it with Campbell, I’d be surprised if he signs with us. I did hear some random dude on a Nashville sports podcast about a month ago that sounded more than shady and what made him even more shadier was that nobody seemed to know who this guy was. A google search of his name turned up absolutely nothing but a twitter account that had like 57 followers. Kinda low for an insider giving out all sorts of info over the airwaves like that.

Loved that podcast because I am pretty sure Jennings is part insider, part troll. His Twitter account is hilarious

Speaking of NPF, how does it happen that for seemingly every single recruit we go against Ohio State for, they wind up having the very last visit? It's probably just a coincidence as we've not seriously battled for that many guys this late in the process in recent years (a few, but maybe not as many as you'd think), but it's a bit frustrating nonetheless.
