We got a CB for CB Shaun Wade from Florida writer Luke Stampini. This is what he said:
quote:

I put in a Crystal Ball flip for Wade to Bama. Confidence continues to be low that he will stick with his Ohio State pledge despite the fact he says he's "100" to the Buckeyes. I get a feeling that Bama is currently in the best position to flip him, but this recruitment should go deep into December.

BOL says we are privately in the lead for Dylan Moses (but I guess it's not private anymore since they are reporting it ) and we have widened our lead significantly over LSU this spring. They will need to have a big season to get back into it.

Texas is our biggest competition for him at the moment.

A few months ago, not a lot of people knew the name Jack Sears.

Fast forward to April and the San Clemente (Calif.) high school three-star quarterback has become one of the most highly-coveted signal-callers around.

Sears recently hit the road to visit some of the schools that have extended scholarship offers. He headed to Northwestern, Boston College, Harvard, Duke, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Alabama.

247Sports recently spoke to a few close sources connected with the 6-2, 200-pounder's recruitment to get the latest on where things stand.

Who is in this race?

***Listed alphabetically.

Alabama — Despite not having an offer from the Tide, the Alabama coaching staff did a nice job of making Sears feel like a priority for them. Sears was able to get some face time with head coach Nick Saban, which is something that all high school football players can appreciate. Offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin will be out later this spring to watch Sears throw. At this point, seeing him throw in person is all that is keeping him from landing an offer from the Crimson Tide.

The word starting spreading in the halls of Nashville (Tenn.) Davidson Academy that Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin was in the house. He was there to see 6-foot-8, 265-pound offensive tackle Obinna Eze, a young man that has blown up with major college interest despite never playing a varsity snap of football. Offers from LSU, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Auburn and others have arrived in his inbox in recent weeks but Kiffin's arrival on campus and his subsequent offer brought a new level of excitement.

Eze is a native of Nigeria that has only been playing football for one year. That year, he was relegated to the junior varsity due to transfer rules. Despite that limited experience, his talent is obvious.

"I'm in class and then someone tells me that Lane Kiffin is down the hallway and then my whole class freaks out," Eze said.

An offer followed later in the day and despite Eze's limited exposure to college football, the weight of that offer resonated with him.

"You don't have to be in the United States for six months to know who Alabama is," he said. "If you are in U.S. for one week you know who Alabama is. I was like you don't get better than this. This is the best of the best right here. It felt pretty cool but it's way more than that . it feels like if you get an offer form Alabama you're on a whole new level. I just felt really blessed."

Eze has already visited Alabama earlier this spring but he didn't know where he stood on their board until recently. As big as this offer is for Eze, he's not ready to make any rash decisions about his recruitment.

"Alabama is high on my list because they're the best. But at the same time I have to relax and get over the hype and the name and see if it's a fit for me because at the end of the day it's recruiting. They are always going to appeal to me more. For me it's a matter of time to just be patient. I want to go through this recruiting as long as I can. I want to be as patient as possible."

Eze is ranked by 247Sports Composite as the No. 47 offensive tackle in the country and the No. 12 player in the state of Tennessee.
