Does Henry make everyone look average. That's a 2× Pro Bowl RB.

Ignont just confirmed with BOL that Alabama is officially his leader with a decision coming soon. He will take more visits before his decision to Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Michigan.

Auburn fans certainly felt good about Ignont. Less so now

It appears Ole Miss may have gotten their claws into Marvin Wilson.

Bellaire Episcopal (Texas) 5-star Marvin Wilson is the No. 1 defensive tackle prospect in America and the Class of 2017's No. 4 recruit regardless of position, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite index. He took his first-ever visit to Oxford on April 9.

"It was a great experience," Wilson told Rebels247. "I went up there with (high school teammate) Walker (Little). He has two siblings there and they had been telling me about how great of a place it was. They were telling the truth. I absolutely loved the campus and loved the environment."

Little is a 4-star offensive tackle out of Bellaire Episcopal who has an older brother and sister who are currently students at Ole Miss. While Wilson was taking his first unofficial to Oxford, Little, one of the Rebels' top offensive line targets in the 2017 class, has been a frequent visitor for a few years.

Does Wilson plan to visit Ole Miss again?

"Yes. I probably will be back later this summer or on an official visit," Wilson shared.

Shortly after Wilson left Ole Miss, rumors began circulating that the Rebels had advanced into his top two with LSU.

"I wouldn't say top two," Wilson said, "but they have surged. I'll probably release a top 10 this summer."

Welp.

I can't believe they are still buying recruits with the NCAA investigation. They are going to get a like a 5 year postseason ban when they get caught. Still rather Wilson go to Ole Miss then LSU.

Everyone knows what's going on in Oxford, just a matter of finding hard evidence. If they get that evidence, it will take Ole Miss football 10 years to recover from the sanctions.

There is a certain level of extra benefits that is accepted, but Ole Miss is blowing that out of the water with what they are doing. When they get caught, Freeze will never coach a game in college football again.

Haha. BamaK posted this (about Wilson) a couple weeks ago. Said he was hearing that they were going to try a Greg Little-type play on Wilson and try to make their splash in this year's class by buying him. This was before they were mentioned with him. Another five star out of state guy who dreamed about playing his college ball in Oxford, MS perhaps?

Apparently Ignot has made a silent commitment to Alabama, but his mother won't let him publicly commit until he takes more visits.

I am absolutely NOT doubting you, it's not my style and I'm on y'alls board. This is just a general question that your post made me think of.

In other posts like the quoted above (here, there, everywhere...you see 'em all the time in recruiting)...HOW in the hell would this info be known? This is a convo btwn a recruit and his mom..yet somehow it gets out to recruiting message boards? I mean how does that even happen?
