Living in La I got to watch Devonta Smith in the state Title game. He reminds me of a quicker and bigger Adarius Stewart. He and ruggs with Jerdy would a great future tandem!

Yep. When you're on top, you had better be greedy if you want to stay on top. We didn't get to the point of being a dynasty by getting a couple stars and a few "diamonds in the rough". We need to continue "hoarding" all the elite guys we can get.

Well Mr. Khaki better put up or shut up soon. He's going into year 3 without shite to show for it except two 3rd place B1G Eastern division finishes. Saban was one game away from the BCSNC in year 2 and won it in year 3. And his schtick is already wearing thin with everyone. We already have a Harbaugh rule from the NCAA and he continues to be a punk arse bitch.

Smith is a technician as a WR. Once he puts on about 15 pounds of so (shouldn't take Cochran too long), he looks like about as sure a bet as anybody in this class.

I haven't read anything. Seemed like there was like a 1 hour period earlier today where people were shitting their pants saying FSU had the lead, but then apparently Bama reeled him back in. Who knows haha.

AB's final prediction on Soloman:

quote:

Final thoughts: Solomon has certainly created a lot of drama in the last few weeks. Nobody seems to have a grasp on what he will do tomorrow. It has appeared like an Alabama-Michigan battle for a while. This afternoon I heard it may be an Alabama/UGA battle, and this evening a UGA/Michigan battle. Did Kirby really create a monster smoke screen? I'm sticking with my original thought. Maybe I'm wrong.
BONE prediction: Michigan

Nothing new. Rodney Orr is saying it's tight, but that the thought is Bama ultimately.

AB also said he predicts Parks will land at Bama if we miss on Soloman (going against what he said this morning that we would have to miss on both Mathis and Soloman).

All of you do realize that there will be several more ranges of emotional "we're getting everybody's" and "the sky is falling... everybody's going elsewhere's" between now and the last guy to commit tomorrow, right?

It won't feel like a traditional signing day unless Bama3714 calls someone a slackjaw

As long as Bama keeps all current commits and lands Ray, Ruggs and Smith, I will be happy.

Yeah there has to be some in-fighting tomorrow.

This thread needs 41 pages to catch up to last year. Do work.

Ha. I might avoid getting "banded" (as Sprinklebama on TI would say) this year.

I'm not sure why we are slacking so bad. A little fighting would help tremendously though
