Destination of Najee's departing flight from San Antonio has already been changed to B'ham, AL.

I'm just gonna keep my mouth shut either way.

But my boy Cam Akers represented my hometown about as well as he could.

I wonder if it is still that or if he changed his mind again.

Akers is explosive. He looked much better today than he did in the Alabama-Mississippi all star game.

My take is that some reporters aren't aware it was confirmed his flight has been changed to B'ham, AL -- or they figure many recruitniks aren't aware -- so they're still click baiting.

That's what happens when you practice more at the position. He's played QB his entire career. He'll be a better RB moving forward just due to reps.

A guy who is selling a pit bull to Cowan (I know, this is how deep we are getting into recruiting now) just put this on BOL regarding Vandarius taking visits:

Just spoke to him. He's just playing the game by his own admission. He's all Bama. Free trips.

We need a thread title change.

Something like Najee wavering like a democrat.

5-star DT Aubrey Solomon has blown up his previous recruiting timeline
Jeff Sentell

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — It was a nice little narrative for Aubrey Solomon. The nation’s No. 2 DT was going to take official visits to Auburn, USC and Florida. That would cover his January.

There wouldn’t be a need to worry about him making a decision on National Signing Day. He had a family issue. He was set to be an uncle and his sister’s delivery was due any day.

A series of unofficial visits would go to Georgia in February. Georgia would get his last visit. Another unofficial to Alabama might be in the works.

A safe projection would have been mid-to-late February. It was unique, but at least it was all sensible.

Poof. Boom. Blow all of that up. Scratch every bit. Here’s the new Intel on Aubrey Solomon:

USC still gets its official visit on Jan. 12.
Auburn will not get an official visit.
Florida will not get an official visit.
He said Georgia might also get an official visit.
The stuff keeps coming. He kept Alabama his leader, stated Michigan was his No. 2 school after that and Georgia would be next.

Solomon also said he’d have his decision by the end of January.
He said a mouthful after the U.S. Army All-American game on Saturday in San Antonio. That old scrapped plan only made sense if he planned to take all of his official visits.

“I am probably only to take one more official visit and then commit after that,” Solomon said. “That one will be USC and I might take an official visit to Georgia after that.”

That’s no longer the case. Solomon said he changed his mind on Tuesday in San Antonio.

There’s a lot more to report here. I’ll keep adding to this story as I transcribe our interview.

Im not gonna lie, if he goes to michigan im gonna be pissed because of Ackers. As soon as the dead period ends, I would be on the phone with Ackers and play the Sark card in that we want him more for what we wanna do offensively now

Akers is an EE, unfortunately. It's either Najee or bust.
