I watched his and Gibbs film, and felt like McKinney was the better DB right now. Gibbs was a guy that was going to take some work to get him ready at DB, but you could see that he has all the potential in the world. If he gets there Gibbs could be really special, but McKinney is a cant miss from day one IMO.
I also felt like McKinney was a perfect fit for Bama. He plays with a lot of swag, as Jon Allen would say hes got some dog in'em. He's very instinctive, and has that quick twitch/sudden type ability that you can't teach.
McKinney was the best DB I personally watched all season relative to being a ball hawk in this cycle as well. Kid would literally bait QB's into throwing him the ball.
Big get. McKinney and Wright has the future bright at safety.

Throughout these great recruiting cycles the Nick Saban era has shown us, I put 2008, 2009 & 2014 as the top 3. This 2017 class might crack the top 3, and it might take over 2008 as #1

After announcing he would not be an early enrollee on Friday, Xavier McKinney now says he will in fact be enrolling at Alabama next week.

I just want to see the nuclear melt from UGA fans that would result. And they were so proud that they'd shut us out of GA. And we landed McKinney and maybe Solomon.

To be fair Hank did crystal ball McKinney to Clemson (but so did everyone else)
