Does he stalk our targets? Let me guess. He'll be there AFTER Saban.

Was going to ask the same question
To be fair Bama and OSU basically take the top 100 and say "which 15 do I want"

FWIW Jeremy Birmingham the one OSU insider I sort of trust said he is more and more confident OSU keeps Wade. So, once again, who the hell knows

Trey Smith will announce tomorrow.

All eyes will be on five-star offensive tackle Trey Smith of University School of Jackson (Tenn.) leading up to his scheduled announcement at 4:30 p.m. Eastern time Tuesday at his school. Smith is coming off his official visit to Tennessee over the weekend, and he will be visited by coaches from Ohio State, Alabama and Tennessee on Monday before announcing his choice.
Smith told GoVols247 on Sunday that he knew where he wanted to go even before his official visit with the Vols. And while there undoubtedly was some positive buzz surrounding Ohio State coming out of his official visit to Columbus, Ohio, the weekend of Nov. 26, that doesn’t necessarily mean he will choose the Buckeyes. Sources close to Smith’s recruitment said his latest visit to Tennessee went extremely well, and there now seems to be a bit more positive buzz regarding the Vols’ chances than there was a few days ago.
It’s worth noting that Smith has been fairly tight-lipped, by all accounts, in regard to Tuesday’s announcement. And there’s reason to believe either Ohio State or Tennessee could be the choice — and even Alabama can’t entirely be ruled out at this point. But some sources close to the Vols seem to be cautiously optimistic about Tennessee’s chances coming out of the weekend.
Alabama coach Nick Saban and Ohio State coach Urban Meyer are scheduled to be among the coaches visiting with Smith on Monday. Vols offensive line coach Don Mahoney and linebackers coach Tommy Thigpen also are expected to visit with Smith on Monday. But sources have indicated that those visits might take place at Smith's school more so than in his home, and if Smith indeed knew even before the weekend where he was going, Monday’s visits seem unlikely to change his mind.

If Nick Saban doesn’t get fired from now until Dec. 14, which is the date junior college prospects can sign their national letter of intent, then Alabama should be able to hold onto one of its top commits.
Despite his change of plans of visiting other schools, Elliot Baker, the nation’s No. 1 junior college offensive tackle from City College of San Francisco, said there’s nothing that would change his decision of playing for the Crimson Tide in 2017.
“I am 100 percent sure of that,” Baker told SEC Country late Sunday night. “Maybe if Coach Saban got fired, but I don’t think that’s happening.”
There has been some concern from fans on social media lately because of Baker’s decision to take official visits to schools not named Alabama. He visited Tuscaloosa for the Iron Bowl and Texas A&M for the Aggies’ game against UTSA.
He’ll also take an official visit to either Georgia, LSU or Miami this weekend. Baker disputed reports of him setting an official visit to Athens. As of Sunday night, his mind on which school he’ll see this weekend was not made up yet.
Three weeks ago, Baker told SEC Country that he wouldn’t visit other schools. He said the reason why he changed his mind is because he felt like he earned the right to take all of the visits he can. Baker was not recruited coming out of high school, so this is the first time he’s actually gone through the recruiting process.
Baker told Alabama outside linebackers coach Tosh Lupoi and offensive line coach Brent Key about his decision to take additional trips and they “weren’t cool with it,” but they understood his reasoning.
“They told me to enjoy myself and have fun but not too much fun,” Baker said. “I love those guys. I have a great relationship with the coaches over there, so nothing is going to change. They understand that I’m a 20-year-old guy and it’s a free trip, so I have to take advantage of it.”
Alabama is still recruiting two other offensive tackles in the Class of 2017 in 5-star prospects Trey Smith and Isaiah Wilson even though it has three committed in Baker, 5-star prospect Alex Leatherwood and 4-star prospect Jedrick Wills.
Georgia offensive line coach Sam Pittman visited Baker in San Francisco on Saturday and pitched to the recruit the Bulldogs’ need for several quality offensive linemen. Baker is leaning toward visiting Athens this weekend mainly because of Pittman’s pitch, his desire to visit Athens, which he has heard is “a really great college town” and Kirby Smart’s recruiting efforts. Smart talks to Baker’s mom often.
He understands that Georgia may offer a better opportunity to play right away, but it’s not going to sway him.
“It doesn’t really change anything with my commitment,” Baker said. “It looks good on paper though.
“I’m someone who likes a challenge. I feel like surrounding myself with the best players in the nation. I feel like that’s what would make me a better player. Competing against the best players in the country would really raise my playing level. That’s what I like about Alabama. It’s also my dream school.”
What if Alabama landed either one of the 5-star tackles mentioned above? Smith is making his commitment on Tuesday and Wilson is expected to announce at the Under Armour All-American game on Jan. 1.
“It wouldn’t change anything for me,” Baker said. I want to come in with the No. 1 class. Like I said, I want to surround myself with the best talent. I’m only there for two years — three, actually — I have a redshirt, but I don’t plan on using it.
“I know Isaiah. I was on my official visit with him. I hope he comes. I hope we can get Trey, too. That would just be ridiculous. Can you imagine if we do that? Having those guys there for three to four years would be awesome to see.”
Saban and Lupoi are expected to be in San Francisco on Wednesday to see Baker at his school. He will be signing his letter of intent on Dec. 14, which is the first day midyear junior college recruits can sign.

Saban to visit multiple recruits

Trey Smith, 5-star offensive tackle, Jackson, Tenn.
Now that the SEC championship is over, Alabama coach Nick Saban can fully devote his time this week to recruiting. With one week before the dead period begins, Saban will be on the road visiting multiple recruits on Monday.
With just a day before he’s set to commit, Saban will be in Jackson, Tenn., at the home of 5-star offensive tackle Trey Smith with wide receivers coach Billy Napier. The assistant was in Tennessee on Friday to have breakfast with Smith.

The 5-star offensive tackle is coming off an official visit to Tennessee this past weekend and Ohio State the week prior. Smith told 247Sports’ Ryan Callahan that he knew which school was going to receive his commitment on Tuesday entering his visit to Knoxville. If Alabama wasn’t the school on his mind, can Saban change his thinking less than 24 hours before his decision? Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer will also be in Tennessee to visit Smith on Monday.
Various sources have told SEC Country that Smith’s recruitment is too close to call right now and they wouldn’t be surprised with any of these three schools receiving his commitment — Alabama, Ohio State or Tennessee.
Two things Alabama has going for it when it comes to the team’s chances of landing Smith’s commitment are: He has been a Crimson Tide fan since kindergarten and the team’s success of churning out offensive linemen to the NFL.
Smith will announce his commitment at 4:30 p.m. ET. SEC Country will be in attendance for the nation’s No. 5 offensive tackle’s decision.

IMG Academy, Bradenton, Fla.
On Monday, Saban is also expected to be at football factory IMG Academy, where several Alabama commits and targets attend, according to a source at the school.
The big name for Alabama fans to know is Tide 5-star linebacker commit Dylan Moses. Moses, a Baton Rouge, La., native, committed to Alabama over LSU following his official visit to Tuscaloosa for the Kentucky game.
LSU is still hoping to flip the nation’s No. 1 outside linebacker, but it would be a surprise if he didn’t stick with his commitment. He’s been one of the most vocal commitments on Twitter and has actively recruited for Alabama. He has, however, gone back on what he has said about not taking trips to schools not named Alabama. He’s visited LSU twice since committing to Alabama.
Alabama long snapper commit Thomas Fletcher and 2019 athlete commit Trey Sanders also attend IMG. Joshua Kaindoh, a 5-star defensive end who recently de-committed from Maryland, has also emerged as a possible addition to the Tide’s class. The staff had been in communication with him prior to his de-commitment from the Terrapins. He’s expected to visit this upcoming weekend.
