Hank texted Tua's parents and they said to not expect any change in his commitment status, even if Lane leaves.

Meh. Parents lie too. I can see him bolting if Lane leaves. Oh well

I doubt he will go there sight unseen, Kiffin or no Kiffin. Dead period starts Dec. 12th,
so if he doesn't visit them this weekend or next weekend, then i think he will stay committed.

Hopefully, but in this day in age of recruiting I don't count on any kid or his parents until they are enrolled or the ink is dry

I'm fine with Lane or Sark. I'd rather not strengthen one of our rivals, but we'll have a pretty much equally renowned offensive mind either way. The machine rolls on....

I'm rooting for the ultimate melt on tRant. Kiffin to Oregon and Sark stays here.

Yes. I don't feel like researching it though

Kiffin will be a head coach next year, not a OC at Bama or LSU.

I just hope if Sark is hired that he's more adept to adapting his system than he's been at times.
Jake Locker was a poor fit for his pro style offense and regressed further his senior year. Yes he was drafted in the 1st, but that pick was criticized and was based on what he could become than what he had on tape.

even if we somehow lose Sark too, I trust that Saban can steal a guy like Lincoln Riley some hotshot 1AA OC

Mark Helfrich maybe?

Bruce Feldman just tweeted that Butch Jones has taken the Purdue job.
Chalk another 5* up to our class. Welcome to Alabama, Trey Smith!

Well, now they're saying it's a fake twitter account.
So I guess Jones to Purdue isn't confirmed yet, but it has been widely reported all day that he interviewed there and many are saying he wants out. So... who knows?

That's the best they can do

I think a coach can't recruit a player at a new school that he was recruiting at his old school unless the new school was already recruiting the player.
This is why LSU offers Tua now. Lane is secondary recruiter for him. Lsu offers now, Lane starts at LSU within a week, and he can aggressively recruit and try to get him on campus at BR next weekend in last ditch attempt to flip him before dead period (12/12) and before Tua EEs.
Won't work, but does add up with the increasing possibility of Kiffin heading to LSU

True, but Oregon just opened up and the HC job at Oregon is way better than the OC at LSU
