I worry about some of you. How anyone could think that Najee Harris gives 1 flying frick about another RB in the same class is just hilarious. If anything he pittys him.

Hank actually said Shaun Wade's visit was unofficial. He will either official for the A&M or Auburn game.
Yeah they said he had a game in Tallahassee on Thursday and due to the storm stuff going on, decided to visit some family in Montgomery and had a quick impromptu visit to Alabama, since they were already in the general area...
Sounded like a really positive visit and they even got to see the walk-through as well as watch some film with the team. Pretty cool, IMO...

I don't know where we were at with 4-star LB Justin Foster, but he just committed to Clemson

Thought the same thing at 1st.......then saw a slow motion when they either cut to commercial or came back from the Endzone view. With the DL's back to the OL, his hand was wrapped around him like a 1/2 bear hug. That's what got called.

Expect a couple of our BIG commitments to visit UGa. I doubt it's anything to be concerned about, but Uga is going to be bringing in a lot of nationally elite guys for visits that hadn't previously considered them too much.

I wouldn't mind if Bama only took Harris in this class.
You should never ever ever only take 1 RB in a class IMO and for a team that runs the ball at least at a 50/50 clip, 2 should always be a minimum.

Javon Kinlaw is visiting for the A&M game.

You really don't think it could be a "revitalization" from a new coaching staff and guys who were recruited through their Soph, Jr years by Kirby literally throwing the Dawgs a bone (pun intended) and visiting?
Not everything equates to every other team cheating...every team in the SEC has some myriad of shade in recruiting, it's the landscape in the southeastern hotbeds right now.

With Tennessee playing host to top-ranked Alabama on Saturday, this weekend is shaping up to be perhaps the Vols’ biggest recruiting weekend of the season.
At least a handful of official visitors, including a couple of players committed to other schools, and several high-priority targets are expected to be among the prospects in attendance Saturday for Tennessee’s showdown with the rival Crimson Tide at Neyland Stadium.
The Vols currently are scheduled to host at least five official visitors, a group led by top-100 cornerback Lamont Wade of Clairton (Pa.) High School, Top247 cornerback Christopher Henderson of Miami’s Columbus High School and top-100 wide receiver D.J. Matthews, a longtime Florida State commitment from Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, Fla.
Three-star offensive lineman Jerry Drake Jr. of Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) High School, who received an offer from Tennessee less than a month ago, and three-star defensive end Jonathan Garvin, a Miami commitment from Lake Worth (Fla.) High School, also are expected to travel to Knoxville this weekend on official visits.
Some of Tennessee’s top remaining targets in the 2017 class are scheduled to be among the Vols’ unofficial visitors for Saturday’s game, including five-star running back Cam Akers of Clinton (Miss.) High School, five-star offensive tackle Trey Smith of University School of Jackson (Tenn.) and top-100 defensive lineman LaBryan Ray of James Clemens High School in Madison, Ala.
Top-100 offensive tackle Jedrick Wills of Lafayette High School in Lexington, Ky., also is expected to return to Tennessee this weekend, along with three-star defensive lineman Matthew Butler of Garner (N.C.) Magnet High School — one of the Vols’ top remaining defensive-line targets — and three-star wide receiver JaVonta Payton of Hillsboro High School in Nashville, Tenn.
A number of targets in the 2018 and 2019 class are scheduled to travel to Tennessee on Saturday, too.
Top-100 wide receiver Joshua Moore of Yoakum (Texas) High School and twin brother Jordan Moore, a top-100 safety, are among the Tennessee targets in the 2018 class who have discussed visiting the Vols this weekend, along with four-star offensive lineman Jalil Irvin of Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Ga., three-star running back Master Teague of Blackman High School in Murfreesboro, Tenn., and three-star athlete Justin Oden of Spring Hill High School in Columbia, Tenn.
And a number of Tennessee’s current commitments are expected to be in attendance, including three-star wide receiver Jacquez Jones of Clearwater, Fla., three-star linebacker Jaquan Henderson of Covington, Ga., and four-star Class of 2018 athlete Alontae Taylor of Manchester, Tenn.

I am guessing Leatherwood is one of these guys. Rusty on UGA-247 says that Alex will be in Athens this weekend for an Unofficial, and that he may follow-up with an OV to UGA after the Bama OV that many of us thought would be his last visit.
Whats going on with our boy Alex?

Looks like he's just making the most of some free trips. I mean he did help recruit Moses to Alabama so I'd say he's pretty solid.

Georgia has advantage for Solomon in key area
LEESBURG, Ga. — Aubrey Solomon, Alabama’s top defensive tackle target in the Class of 2017, made it clear that Alabama has some work to do in order to get his commitment.
Solomon, a 4-star defensive tackle from Lee County High School (Leesburg, Ga.), told SEC Country that Georgia is doing the best job at communicating with his family.
That’s important because his mother, Sabrina Caldwell, will have a huge say where her son attends college next year.
“It is not really like I don’t have (a say) in the decision because I do,” Solomon said. “I know what’s best for me, but at the end of the day, my mom knows what’s best for me. She birthed me. She knows what’s best for me, so we are going to talk it out. Whatever she feels is the best (school) I’m going to go with it.”
The U.S. Army All-American said he pictures himself playing at either Alabama, Georgia or Clemson. All three of those schools have a “group of defensive linemen going to the NFL every year,” Solomon said.
But neither Alabama nor Clemson has Georgia defensive line coach Tracy Rocker or director of player development Jonas Jennings on staff. In Solomon’s recruitment, he’s closest to those two and no one else comes close, he said.
He also talks to Kirby Smart the most among head coaches, doing so at least once a week.
The nation’s No. 5 defensive tackle will take official visits to Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Florida and Michigan, the school he was once committed to.
He already knows what the Crimson Tide must do to impress him when he makes that visit, which has not been set up yet.
“They just need to show my family a good time and show that they actually care about my family and not just me,” Solomon said.
Has Alabama done that up until this point?
“Not necessarily. They have in a way, but not how Georgia does,” Solomon said. “They put my family first and then they come to me. That’s what I like — my family first, then me.”
The good news for the Alabama staff is that Solomon is already planning to take his recruitment past National Signing Day. It’s possible that a commitment could come in May, shortly before he would need to report to his school of choice for summer workouts.
“I’m not really worried about recruiting until my senior season is done,” Solomon said. “Once my senior season is done, I’ll be happy to do all of that recruiting. Until then, I’m just trying to focus on this team and win state.”
The 6-foot-3, 305-pound prospect said Alabama sees him as a successor to Jonathan Allen, who is almost assuredly going to be a first-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
“They’ll show me film of Allen, who’s just doing it all,” Solomon said. “They see me playing that type of position and being that type of player.”

Solomon makes former Alabama commit look silly
During Lee County’s blowout win against Houston County this past Friday, Solomon made one of the best plays you’ll ever see from a defensive lineman.
Jake Fromm, a former Alabama quarterback commit who’s now committed to Georgia, rolled out to the right, and what happened next just needs to be seen.
That’s Solomon just slapping the ball away with ease from a future SEC quarterback. That score was Solomon’s first touchdown of his career.
After the game, Solomon and Fromm embraced at midfield, and the quarterback shared a message to the 4-star defensive tackle.
“We talked about Georgia and him being a Georgia commit, so I told him it was a possibility,” Solomon said.
Georgia is going to be very hard for Alabama to beat when it comes time for Solomon’s decision.
The video of this play is in the link two posts above.

Browning comments on Alabama
If you read the Alabama recruiting mailbag this past Friday, you already knew that 5-star outside linebacker Baron Browning will take an official visit to Alabama for the team’s game against Texas A&M on Oct. 22.
Alabama already has four linebacker commitments in the Class of 2017 in 5-star prospect Dylan Moses and 4-star recruits VanDarius Cowan, Markail Benton and Gary Johnson.
All four of those prospects are viewed by the Alabama staff as inside or middle linebackers. Browning is being courted by Alabama as an outside linebacker, and there’s still room in this class for at least one at the position.
Browning is near or at the top of the list for Alabama, but it’s still a long-shot he ends up signing with the Tide. Ohio State and Texas are viewed as the favorites in his recruitment.
But the three things the U.S. Army All-American shared with Damon Sayles of Bleacher Report are interesting.
-Browning said he’s looking for a school with a good strength and conditioning coach. Check that box for Alabama, as Scott Cochran is arguably the best in college football.
-The school needs to have a solid position coach. Again, Alabama has one of the best in the country in outside linebackers coach Tosh Lupoi. Lupoi also is one of the nation’s best recruiters.
-Finally, his school of choice needs a reliable defensive coordinator. The Tide have that in Jeremy Pruitt, who has had a fantastic defense at every school he’s been at, a list that includes Florida State and Georgia.
Alabama has all of the things he’s looking for, so this upcoming visit for Browning is an important moment.
“Of course you want to get know (Nick Saban),” Browning said. “But those three coaches will be the ones I’m with the majority of the time. The relationships with those guys have to be great.”
Browning said he plans to announce his commitment on Nov. 29.

Don't do that crap. Don't imply that Kirby is cheating/paying recruits the way OM did/is. To do so is to call into question his character for 9 seasons at Bama and that's not right. Kirby is a good coach and a great recruiter and a great school. He's going to be able to sell kids on visiting UGA without having to cheat to do it.
