Yea it ruffles my feathers...out of state commitments this early in the process just are hard to hold onto. I'll say this though he seems like he wants to go out of state so and likes pruitt .

When that support staff guy came over from UGa and we signed Shy Carter, that sealed the deal for Smith.

Former Alabama defensive lineman A’Shawn Robinson appeared on Matt Moscona’s local radio show in Baton Rouge recently to let the folks in Red Stick know as well. Robinson has been in Baton Rouge training and preparing for the NFL Draft.
quote:
Robinson told Moscona that it was a little weird training so close to one of your biggest rivals, but he did get the chance to give out a “Roll Tide” at a local eatery. I mean, who is really going to say anything to the 6-foot-4, 320 pounder? Definitely not me.
quote:. Nothing to do with recruiting, but I figured it would make folks happy
He then went on to point out the Tide never lost to the Tigers while Robinson was in Tuscaloosa. “I feel like we own the Tigers”, Robinson said during the interview according to write up from Moscona on Gridiron Now. They have owned them since the BCS Championship game in New Orleans. That game left scars that will never go away.

Derrick Henry put up 22 reps on the bench press at the combine (225 pounds). Three fewer than UGA's Keith Marshall, who led all RBs.
From Crimson Cover's Twitter. Drake might have had the fewest of all RBs

He is coming off a broken forearm. Still might not be comfortable and could've had some tricep/bicep atrophy.

I like this comment from that thread:
So what I got from that illustration is that LSU is the baby with Down Syndrome.

well it's the truth.
Right. But he is still a shithead
Man walks into restaurant, points at baby with Downs Syndrome, "That baby is an absolute retard."
Well its the truth isnt really a defense
So what I got from that illustration is that LSU is the baby with Down Syndrome.

This time a week ago 2017 tight end Zech Byrd just received his first offer from Troy.
Fast forward seven days, and the 6-foot-6, 235 pound Byrd boasts offers from major Power 5 programs including Michigan, Florida and Ole Miss. Kentucky, Southern Miss and Toledo have also thrown their hats in the ring to land the Millbrook, Ala. product.
Byrd plays at the same high school -- Stanhope Elmore -- that former Tide All-American Dee Milliner played.
One source familiar with Byrd's skill set has lofty praise for the up-and-coming tight end.
"Thought he was a hooper at first," the source said. "His coach is old school and runs the ball 90 percent of the time. That's why he's not a four- or five-star. He works hard as hell."
Byrd will be making the trek up US-82 on Friday for an unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa. Expect more offers to come his way this spring and summer.

Spring (Texas) Dekaney tight end Malcolm Epps had a productive sophomore season this past year. The 6-foot-5.5, 230-pound class of 2018 prospect caught 21 passes for 364 yards and five touchdowns en route to being named his district's Newcomer of the Year.
Also a standout basketball player, Epps has helped Dekaney to a 28-7 record so far with a playoff game coming up Thursday evening against Austin Westlake.
This week, his football film seems to have made the rounds, though, and he had a big Wednesday, picking up a quartet of offers.
"I was offered by Alabama, Texas A&M, Florida State and LSU," Epps said on Thursday afternoon. "They all offered me yesterday."
He has wasted no time in scheduling a visit to one of those schools.
"This Saturday, I'm going to Alabama," he said.
