frick yeah on Najee doing some recruiting. I'm glad he was able to develop a bond with the other commits.

He never was a 5* talent. His senior film was 3* quality.

The RT spot could be very interesting next year. I'd assume Jonah will move to LT. Baker, Leatherwood, Lashley. Maybe Womack if he continues to progress as he did in year one. Will be a lot of comp. That's a good thing!

CamRob will likely be gone after this year, could be a top 15ish type pick if he keeps his head on straight from here on out and bounces back from injury like I think he will.

That leaves a LT opening for Leatherwood who has the feet and power, a move to RT would be a waste IMO, he has a shot to start as a TF like CR did.

Jonah W. is a natural LT. I'm sure CNS will move the guy with a year's experience to LT and let someone else take over at RT. It's the only thing that makes sense.

What will be interesting is that when Tua T is QB the RT spot will become the more important tackle spot.

Tua looked great in the one game we were able to watch last night. Jeudy looked the opposite. Two easy throws he dropped. Harris isn't a natural pass catcher.

Martell looked blah; Grimes looked up and down

Tua did look good. I dont see Martell playing QB with OSU at 5.11. Is he blessed with a lot of speed? If not, where do you see him playing.

I really have no idea how OSU's QB situation will play out. OSU has Barrett now, and he is eligible to return next year for his senior year (will he?). Then they have a good guy who will have been in the system for a few years and seems to have a good feel for the game in Joe Burrow, then obviously we got Haskins in the last class who is a beast. In 2018 OSU is the leader for Emory Jones.

Martell may be the Drew Brees/Wilson or he may be the thousands of short guys who can't cut it over large OL/DL. I'm not sure he's athletic enough to be anything other than a college QB. He's quick, but he's not scat back/slot receiver quick IMO

A Texas A&M fan posted these on the SECRb regarding Martell. His argument was that Manuel has huge hands for his size. Martell? Not so much:

Hint: Those balls would make Tom Brady proud.

BEAVERTON, Ore. - The Opening and Elite 11 events at the Nike World Headquarters got heated on Saturday. That's when the 7on7 tournament kicked off and the offensive and defensive linemen threw on the pads. Everything before Saturday was just an appetizer and the main course gave us plenty to chew on.

These were the top non-quarterback performers on the offensive side of the ball.

How does he even throw a ball that deflated?

11. Uncommitted TE Josh Falo

One of three tight ends to make this top performers list, Falo is a smooth route-runner that shows great body control and can contort any way necessary to make a catch. He's got soft hands and knows how to block out defenders. Alabama, Oregon, Michigan, Texas A&M and USC are among his favorites.

8. Alabama OT commit Alex Leatherwood

He can play guard, he can play tackle, he can pass block and he can run block. The 6-5, 315-pounder is just so physical and he really seems to enjoy the competition. I could realistically see him as a left tackle in the SEC or a guard. He has that kind of versatility. Though he did lose a rep to Chase Young early in the day, he had a very complete day overall.
