I'd like to congratulate these other schools who might get a better star average over our kicker and long snapper class. Good job guys.

Browning is also visiting Bama this month.
Per BOL, One of our commits referred to Browning as an Alabama commitment when asked in an interview which commits he speaks with.

BEAVERTON, Ore. — Friday afternoon at The Opening Finals saw players break up into a camp-like setting to work on position-specific drills and 1-on-1s. Here are our observations from watching the offensive linemen work out at the Nike World Headquarters.
Alpha Dog
OT Alex Leatherwood, Pensacola (Fla.) Washington: The 6-foot-6, 315-pound Alabama commit was probably the most impressive lineman on-the-hoof and he backed it up with his play as well. Though it took him a little while to adjust to the speed of the wide edge rushers, he eventually did and was able to drop step and stop them all. He also did a fantastic job keeping leverage and moving his feet as to not let the defenders into his body. There’s a reason he is a five-star prospect for sure as he was able to play both tackle and guard.
Next Three Standouts
C Cesar Ruiz, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy: The nation’s top center was a force in the middle. With big defensive tackles trying to bulrush him after the snap, he set his base quickly and stood his ground. He had one-on-one wins against solid tackles including Jay Tufele and James Lynch. His only real struggle was against Tyler Shelvin.
OT Walker Little, Bellaire (Texas) Episcopal: The very first rep for the 6-foot-7, 303-pound tackle was a loss but that was the only one on the day for the prototypical left tackle. He ran the shuttle in the 4.4-second range and showed that athleticism and change of direction when the ends would try to use different pass rush moves on him.
OT Trey Smith, Jackson (Tenn.) University School: The 6-foot-5.5, 299-pound tackle had some hits and misses but, when the camp coaches worked with him after losses, he rebounded well and was tough to get around. Smith was probably the most athletic offensive lineman in attendance and his ceiling is through the roof. He was able to stop some of the top edge rushers in attendance.
Signature Play
Playing left guard, Leatherwood was lined up against four-star Ohio State defensive tackle commit Haskell Garrett. Garrett did his best to try to get low and use his strength to run through Leatherwood but it didn’t work. The five-star offensive lineman kept his hips low and his feet moving and did not let Garrett to the quarterback.
Emptying the Notebook
-Georgia offensive tackle commit D’Antne Demery struggled a bit on the first day. The talent in Oregon is a bit better than he is used to playing against for sure. It will be interesting to see how he rebounds over the weekend.
-IMG offensive guard Robert Hainsey had a strong day as well and narrowly missed out on the top performers group. His film shows a good run blocker but he did well in pass pro on Friday.
-A couple of highly-rated interior linemen – Texas Tech commit Jack Anderson and Texas A&M pledge Creed Humphrey – both struggled a bit on Friday against the quick defensive tackles. Both excel in run blocking but were a bit behind on Friday in pass protection.

BEAVERTON, Ore. - We finally got a taste of some competition out in Oregon at the most talented event of the year, The Opening Finals. On Friday's opening day competition, the players went through combine testing, position drills and one on ones. It was just an appetizer for what is to come on Saturday and Sunday as the competition will heat up consistently.
Excluding the quarterbacks, these were the top performers of the day according to 247Sports.

6. Uncommitted DT Marvin Wilson
Even when Marvin Wilson lost, he just looked different than the other prospects. He was coming at a whole different speed than every other defensive interior player. The kid is massive and it seems like the earth is shaking when he engages an offensive lineman. Wilson is still raw too and raw equals upside.
LSU, Florida State, Alabama and Texas are considered the favorites.

4. Uncommitted WR Jeff Thomas
Thomas is the fastest player at this camp. First he ran one of the fastest 40 times of any competitor. Then he won the fastest man competition in an old school street race. Then, most importantly, the speed transferred to the field. Thomas flashes long speed like nobody else at this event. He's the wide receiver every DB fears during the 1on1 periods.
Alabama is currently the Crystal Ball favorite.

3. Alabama RB commit Najee Harris
If Moses takes over the No. 1 spot, this is who he'd have to overtake and it won't be without a fight. Harris looked every bit the No. 1 player in the country on Friday. He's big but fluid, tall but runs with lean and leverage and he can make you miss. Among an absolutely stacked group of running backs, Harris is still setting the pace.

2. Uncommitted LB Dylan Moses
Dylan Moses is gunning for the No. 1 spot again. He held it since he was in 7th grade and he had the kind of day on Friday that could help him win it back. The No. 2 player in the country and former LSU commit made the linebacker cat and mouse drill look easy. He's effortless at linebacker and he also ran a 4.50 in the 40 at 6-2, 220 pounds.
LSU, Texas and Alabama are considered the current favorites.

1. Alabama OT commit Alex Leatherwood
He won the lobby and then he won the field. Walking in the door, you can't draw up a much more imposing offensive tackle and then Leatherwood went out and showed off the strength and athleticism combo that's rare. Forget the running backs, if Alabama keeps recruiting these kinds of offensive lineman, they will continue to find the college football playoffs.
Leatherwood gonna be the #1 overall player at the end of this cycle.

BEAVERTON, Ore. — Friday afternoon at The Opening Finals saw players break up into a camplike setting to work on positionspecific drills and 1on 1s. Here are our observations from watching the linebackers work out at the Nike World Headquarters.
Alpha Dog
Dylan Moses, IMG Academy — The nation’s No. 2 overall prospect, Moses showed off why he is elite as he won almost every rep against some of the best running backs in the country. Moses was dominant in the 1-on-1 portion, making a statement by winning every rep against Najee Harris in the regular phase of the camp. Moses is a freak athlete that has yet to reach his potential — and that’s scary.
Next 3
VanDarius Cowan, Palm Beach Gardens — At 6-foot-4, 217 pounds, Cowan is somewhat of a tweener. He uses his hands extremely well, closes in a hurry and was one of the best overall athletes on the field today. Cowan’s athleticism will allow him to play both outside linebacker and defensive end at the next level.
Baron Browning, Kennedale — Another athletic outside linebacker, Browning did a fantastic job in 1-on-1’s thanks to his elite speed. Browning, who ran a 4.5 40-yard-dash earlier in the day, had no problem containing shifty, elusive backs, including Ohio State commit JK Dobbins — one of the best running backs of the day.
KJ Britt, Oxford — A true inside linebacker, Britt more than held his own against elite running back Cam Akers in 1-on-1’s, winning a couple of reps against the five-star prospect. While he’s a little on the short side, Britt moved well for his weight and made himself bigger between bags in the ‘Cat & Mouse’ drill.
Signature Play
Emptying The Notebook
— Plano East’s Anthony Hines had a solid day overall. While Najee Harris put a sick juke move on him in 1-on-1’s, Hines, the most offered prospect in the country, won the majority of his reps.
— Atlanta Westlake product Jaden Hunter had a tough day overall. The four-star prospect lost the majority of his 1-on-1 reps, grasping at thin air and whiffing way too often.
— St. Mary’s Joshua Ross and 2019 Grayson stud Owen Pappoe were both selected to participate in the final competition of the ‘Cat & Mouse’ drill. Both lost their head-to-head battles but impressed on Day 1.

According to Texas Mod EJ Holland TE Major Tennison will make another unofficial to Bama in the next few weeks and that Bama would accept a commitment should he make one which is a strong possibility
