You can throw Skippy Bayless into that mix, too. He's someone that I agree with Charles Barkley about...google Barkley and Bayless if you haven't seen it.

Thanks. Didn't know about the Barkley, Bayless thing and that it's been going on this long. I have to say though, I like chuck, but his past few interviews the past couple of weeks have had me rolling my eyes.

Slightly confused on why Robertson contacted us after the Georgia spectacle. It seems he was ND or Stanford bound due to academics but this report just goes against everything we've heard. I really and truly expect him to go to South Bend.

I do not think Robinson could get in to either and really think his family wants him in the SEC and close to home. UGA basically showed today they moved on from Robinson.

I don't think he can get into Stanford, but ND? It seems he could based on the fact they sent an equipment truck to his damn house recently. I don't understand why you push so hard if a guy isn't going to qualify for your school.

Then again, they sent it to Davis so maybe it was just a convenient stop on the way there. Still doesn't make much sense to me though.

Saban presser going on and he basically said he was pleased with the class (lol) but wanted another WR. Said "You don't get everything you want all the time."

CBS Sports.... 2016 National Signing Day: Alabama locks up 6th straight No. 1 class

quote:

For the sixth consecutive year, Nick Saban has brought the nation's No. 1 recruiting class on the 247Sports Composite team rankings to Alabama coming out of National Signing Day. The Tide came into Wednesday as the No. 7 class but rapidly moved up the board as signings rolled into Tuscaloosa.

Alabama locked up the No. 1 ranking thanks to a flurry of signing day commitments, most notably a pair of in-state, five-star linebackers Ben Davis and Mack Wilson and four-star cornerback Shyheim Carter from Louisiana.

Poor LSU

quote:

LSU came into National Signing Day with the top class and still held on to an excellent group, finishing at No. 3, just behind Alabama and Florida State -- which had a fantastic Signing Day and occupied the top spot in the composite rankings for much of the day.

In the end, no one was able to keep up with Saban and the Tide as they cleaned up with three five-stars, 14 four-stars and six three-stars according to 247Sports' Composite rankings, which combines rankings from all the major recruiting services.

Once again every player on the roster other than transfers will have been apart of a #1 recruiting class

Alabama still has an opening and Saban said they'll continue to be on lookout for a RB or WR, maybe a graduate transfer.

Also was there not mention of the WR from Bowling Green?

Not counting anyone in this class we only have 7 scholarship WRs returning. Now considering who we return I am not concerned barring injuries but the only position we seem to have swung big on and missed big. It seemed we were in on more WRs in this class then any other position and missed about everyone one of them. Almost like when we recruited both Winston and Kiel and missed out.

Hopefully we get Robertson on campus and have one last chance to sell our academics to him. It worked with Hand.

How many times do you expect the HEAD COACH to come to YOU? More than 5? Really?
