I doubt he feels strongly regarding Alabama one way or another. What I don't doubt is that he knows exactly what to say to piss people off and get them talking to or about him.

I mostly agree with that. Though he does seem to have dug his heels in a little bit more than necessary with the Alabama is awful for the sport crap he's been spewing out lately. I think he's the radio equivalent of a message board troll, and I think he's enjoying the attention he's receiving for his whole anti-Alabama shtick.
