FWIW An Aub posted on their board that Brown was planning on informing all of the coaching staffs whether he was coming or not, so they can have time to fill in his place.

I've felt all along that Bama had a good shot at DB. After some of his quotes about Bama being the best program, and putting players in the league, getting the most out their players, etc., etc., ... some of the things he has said it would only make sense if he committed to Bama if he believed what he was saying.

Also might be interesting to keep an eye on the Brendan Scales/Devin Asiasi/Boss Tagaloa dynamic.

Mizzou folks suddenly sounding confident on Scales. There's some confidence that Asiasi is trending our way this afternoon. Where Tagaloa comes into play is that he's Asiasi's teammate. He was once considered a strong lean to UCLA, but is now trending toward Michigan. A lot of moving parts today, to say the least.

I don't know in what realm that the barn is a good choice for any 5* DL player.

To me it seems like the kid is the one making the decisions here.... not the mom. If it were her, she would have spent that last OV at Tuscaloosa. She was completely sold on at least visiting us.

Then the kid kind of slow played the situation when she was saying it was up to him. She said she definitely wanted to see us still and the kid again in an interview slow played that.

I genuinely think she is letting this kid ruin himself.

It's like the parent so wrapped up in their kid they allow them to have whatever they want.

I'm a bit torn about where I would like to see Gary go.

On one hand he could go to Michigan and maybe help put a stop to Ohio State having an easy road to the playoff every year

or

He could go to Clemson and help Clemson replace FSU as the premier program in the ACC

I hate OSU more than all of them so I guess it best Gary go to Meeeeechigan ?

While him going to the Barn wouldn't be much fun, it would all but guarantee Brown to us. I guess I could live with that.

Between Ole Miss' recruiting and the Barn's DL recruiting, their is some bizarre stuff going on this year in recruiting, to say the least.
