This doesn't make sense to me. Most on this board have assumed for a long while that Wilson and Davis are Bama bound.
Reading his dad's comments, it doesn't sound like we told him he's going to GS. It was more like "we might have you GS once all is said and done" and Cole was having none of it.

Lots of crazy stuff going on with Rashan Gary and Derrick Brown.
The barn and Clemson trending strongly with Gary. We're trending strongly for Brown. As of this afternoon, VERY good shot at Brown.

Clemson board was saying Gary is down to Michigan and Clemson.

Leaning to Bama for a week or so. MSU trying to make last minute pitch. Probably pretty close now. Cristobal thinks he's a 1st round draft pick in 3 years. VERY high on our board. Staff compares him to Fluker and Cam Robinson.

Someone who has a direct pipeline to the coaching staff just posted something extremely vague with no names mentioned that leads me to believe we just landed a huge commit. He's extremely reliable, but I know absolutely nothing more than what I just posted. Take it for what it's worth.
Again, though, we're trending very well for Derrick Brown. Sure would be nice. Would make our class complete as far as needs filled.
