I was reading on tSECrb that Juarez is a mormon. If so, does that mean he will have to do that mission his second year? I remember there being talk of that when we tried to get Damien Mama.

It's probably a controversial topic. There are some Mormon athletes that bypass the initial missionary obligation to focus on their athletic career. Here is an article that attempts to give some perspective on the decision and lists some athletes on both sides of the discussion.

For Many Mormon Athletes, Mission Is to Play

I don't think the mission is an obligation. Luatua is LDS and he didn't go.

You are absolutely correct. I apologize it is not an obligation. The gentlemen are "Strongly encouraged" but not obligated...

Would have done well at DT/DE combo. And pass rushing nose. But oh well. We got Payne and Kendell Jones with Frazier. Solid group. Him and harbaugh can cuddle in a twin size bed in Antarctica.

Quinnen Williams probably grows into a 290-300 pounder in a year or two as well

The plan is for Gary to Visit Clemson first and then take an unofficial to Bama, Saturday night thru Sunday
quote:

Paramus (N.J.) Catholic five-star defensive end Rashan Gary, the nation’s No. 1 recruit, plans to visit Clemson this weekend for an official visit his mother Jennifer Coney tells 247Sports.

However, the trip to see the Tigers may not be his last visit of the process.

“We’re still going to Alabama,” Coney said. “I don’t know how it’s going to work, we’re leaving Thursday.”

have a feeling that we are gonna be a little butt hurt in signing day. I sure hope that I'm wrong

When I feel that way,I just tell myself we got the top DL in the country sign with us in J. "Alabama does" Allen.

Davis, Wilson, Hall and call it a day. If we get Juarez and AJ it will be signing day Christmas

I wouldn't expect any more commitments. The remainder of our class is more than likely going to skip the commitment phase and go straight to signing. February 3rd is when we find out
