Everyone crying in their beer need to add the following players to this years class because they just as easily could have gone to the NFL:
J. Allen 10 star
T. Williams 7 star
R. Anderson 7 star
E. Jackson 6 star
R. Foster 6 star
OJ Howard 5 star
Thats a lot of stars you can add to this class with the right perspective. Tops in the nation easily.
J.Allen coming back is insane. I actually think he must have gotten some bad advice from somebody. That man should be playing on Sundays next year.

Agreed. Ive been thinking the same thing. Bama will have their deepest most gifted WR corp ever next year, and like you said plenty of talent in the '17 class.
AJ Brown would be great and all, but everyone needs to have their fingers crossed Bama finishes strong at LB, DT, and DB before worrying about a WR.

It's being said that:
A) Allen's been given a high 2nd round grade. If so, the NFL folks are crazy. He's a monster.
B)There are some extenuating circumstances surrounding his situation. It's been mentioned that he might be having shoulder surgery that would severely limit his Pro Day.
I'm not aware of all the extenuating circumstances, but Rodney Orr and others have mentioned that his situation is a little different than most. There was no surprise at all internally at him coming back. It was somewhat expected all along.

Wasn't that the situation Barron had as well? An injury requiring surgery that would kill his pre-draft circuit work?

And some scouts may be unsure on his position. He could easily play End in a 34 or a 43, but some may think he's a bit too small for the former and a bit too big for the latter.

Yeah. Barron tore his pectoral muscle in the iron bowl in 2010 that ended his season that year.
He tried to play through it at first which is why he was unable to knock down one of Cams miracle bombs in that game that went for 6. Total disaster all around.
