Ben Davis and Terrell Hall would bring us up to 273.02 on the class calculator. That would put us 2nd behind LSU right now.
Of course, other teams are going to add more players as will we.
273.02 would have been good enough for a tenth place finish last year.
If you add in reasonable pickups like Coe, Carter, Gavin, and Joseph, with Hall and Davis, that would put us at 287.55, which would have been good enough for third place last year and fourth place in 2014.

I gotta say I'm a little disappointed that our QB wasn't more of a recruiting factor this year as the two previous years (Cornwell and Barnett).

I agree, we haven't had a leader in this class. It's like everyone is wanting to play games instead of asserting themselves as a leader. It's disappointing.

Why does the qb have to be the leader? I doubt anything they say really matters anyway unless you are a big time recruit.

It doesn't have to be a QB, I never said that, but it was nice when Cornwell and Barnett were the outspoken recruiters. Brown was also a huge leader in the class last year and he wasn't a qb.

Quinnen Williams has been beating the BAMA drum also. Jalen got here early and playing D Watson role helping our D. Tbh this year's class would be hard to recruit regardless. Kudos for the coaching staff realizing this and going after 3 star kids that fit Bamas mentality

Don't think I ever guaranteed it. That would be stupid to do when it comes to 17-18 year old's decisions. Everything changed, as expected, after his off-field stuff. As I've also mentioned before, there are concerns about him being a true RB, especially with his weight ballooning.
