We are #2 on Ben Davis's top five behind UGA.

This year is weird. 3 5-star linebackers in the state, could very well miss on all of them. All this whole we are on a championship run, won the sec, and have yet another middle linebacker who will be a first rounder. Bizarre

Who is #3? Unless you mean Benton next year.

If Bama misses on Davis and/or Wilson, Benton comes back into play big time.

Also weird that we are not getting love from many of the elite dline this year, as we will be losing 3 to the nfl in the first round

Relax. Davidson was going to be a tough pull as long as his brother is EMPLOYED by AU. Besides that, his brother went to AU and their mom wanted them both their.

Mack Wilson is having fun. I expect him at Bama when all the dust settles.

As for Davis, he's this cycle's Marlon. He'll eventually come around.

No way he plays anything but DL for Bama.

BOL just posted another update on Dexter Lawrence. BOL's source is saying that the visit went extremely well this past weekend.

They are saying Clemson still leads but the Bama staff's efforts will keep them in the mix. They also said Kirby's departure will not have an effect on Dexter.

I hear ya. You would think a simple pitch of, "come play here, win a lot - probably a championship of some kind, or two - get a great education in the classroom and on the field, make connections that will impact you for a lifetime, and have a very real chance at becoming a multi-millionaire in 3 years with life changing money" would be enough.

These kids like to be sold though. They want to feel like they are NEEDED, which is not really something Saban does a lot of in terms of his pitch.

Takes a special mentality to want to come to Bama and want to embrace that hard work. I literally have zero concerns about our recruiting for that reason.

If we are recruiting you then it is obvious we want you. I mean look at our front 7. All of them are getting good grades from draft prospects and none of them have the usual wear and tear because of the depth and rotation. Look at Henry. Didn't play until the bowl game his freshman year, split carries his sophomore year and now is going to win the Heisman. Saban's process works kids.

This needs some kind of awesome graphic with a #BUILTBYBAMA tagline.

Seems like a bruiser, has some good moves, but a little slow.

His vision and balance remind me of an Ingram type. He's just a good, determined runner, not a ton of flash.

Good genes too...

Dexter Lawrence had a really good visit but this really comes down to his mother. Again he grew up a CU fan and with his mother wanting him to be closer to home it should be CU he picks next week. But I had we may have an in home before then and that we might be right there in the end.
