Richt just doused those flames on Twitter, said Pruitt is their DC and is working on the UK game.

Need those dawgs to beat AU!!!

Pruitt is clearly gone after the season so their class may take a hit regardless. Not sure Richt will survive it either but I am pulling for him. He's a good dude.

I really respect Richt & co handled that injured player from Southern University. Very classy.

Alabama head coach Nick Saban provided some injury updates during his weekly radio show Thursday evening. He revealed a little bit on the progress of Dominick Jackson (ankle), Ronnie Harrison (ankle) and Eddie Jackson (knee).

"Everybody's practiced so we don't have any issues with anybody right now," Saban said. "Dominick has been able to practice more and more as the week's gone on, Ronnie Harrison has practiced more and more as the week's gone on, Eddie Jackson has practiced all week long. When you have guys that have been injured, you never know exactly how long they'll last in the game, if their injury will be a reoccurring problem, so you have to be prepared to play without them. And it's offered some opportunity to get a lot of work."

I don't know how much Dominick will be able to play. We'll probably make that decision in pregame based on how he feels."

The 2015 college football season rolls into November with building excitement after an initial release of playoff rankings. This month's first slate of games provides plenty of compelling storylines, complete with crucial recruiting visits across America.

The colossal SEC clash between Alabama and LSU in Tuscaloosa will draw enough high school talent to build a title-contending roster at any university. Meanwhile, matchups at Clemson and Ohio State are among other contests that carry potential recruiting implications.

Here's our weekly look at pivotal player visits to keep tabs on during days to come.

Alabama: 5-star OT Greg Little

Class: 2016

High School: Allen (Allen, Texas)

Size: 6'5 ½", 305 lbs.

247Sports Composite Ranking: No. 1 offensive tackle; No. 2 overall

Lone Star State standout Greg Little, the top-rated offensive prospect in his class, initially intended to announce a commitment Nov. 4 (his birthday). Instead, the coveted lineman delayed a decision to ensure he has a chance to experience Alabama's game-day atmosphere.

"[The visit] originally was set up for the 31st [of October], but they have a bye that week. I wanted to be there for a game," Little told Bleacher Report's Damon Sayles.

The anchor of an Allen High School squad that's won three straight state championships previously pledged to Texas A&M. He backed off that verbal commitment this summer, taking official visits to Georgia, LSU and Auburn since.

Little is still considering a fifth and final official visit at Ole Miss, according to Sayles, though that trip probably won't occur until after he commits somewhere. It's clear Little will land in the SEC, and this is Alabama's best shot to ensure he spends the next few years in Tuscaloosa.

The Crimson Tide continue to stockpile talent along the offensive front, carrying a commitment from 5-star California tackle Jonah Williams. These two could develop into dominant bookends together when star sophomore left tackle Cam Robinson eventually heads to the NFL.

Alabama claims a commanding lead in Little's 247Sports Crystal Ball. He is projected to sign with the Crimson Tide by 50 percent of experts' predictions, easily outpacing second-place Ole Miss (22 percent).

Alabama: 5-star TE Isaac Nauta

Class: 2016

High School: IMG Academy (Bradenton, Florida)

Size: 6'4", 237 lbs.

247Sports Composite Ranking: No. 1 tight end; No. 9 overall

Isaac Nauta, the country's top-ranked pass target regardless of position, embarks on his fourth official visit in five weeks. It's been a whirlwind schedule, with trips to Michigan, Georgia and Ole Miss now in the rear-view mirror.

Nauta wasn't initially supposed to make a stop in Tuscaloosa. He planned to spend time at USC this weekend before heading to TCU on Thanksgiving weekend for his final official visit.

Instead, the Trojans' coaching change altered his itinerary and thrust Alabama into the mix.

The Crimson Tide host an incredible and enviable amount of talent this weekend, but don't expect Nauta to get lost in the shuffle. He's in the discussion among 2016 prospects most physically and fundamentally prepared to make an impact in college next year.

The former Florida State commit will reveal his intentions at the Army All-American Bowl, giving him more than a month to sort things out after official visits are wrapped up.

“With Alabama, I’ve never been there for a game,” Nauta told Bleacher Report's Sanjay Kirpalani last week. “I just want to see the game-day atmosphere there. I want to see if it’s a place I could live for four years."

In a game with College Football Playoff implications and a showdown that could possibly decide the SEC West, No. 2 LSU will take on No. 4 Alabama Saturday night in Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Ahead of the SEC showdown, SEC Country polled a handful of LSU and Alabama commits and targets to see who they think is going to come out on top.

Check out their predictions below.

Ben Davis, 2016 nation’s No. 1 inside linebacker and son of Alabama’s all-time leading tackler, Wayne Davis (uncommitted) — “LSU wins 24-21. I think it’s going to be a low scoring game. It’s going to come down to which defense plays the best.”

Mecole Hardman, 2016 nation’s No. 1 athlete (uncommitted) — “I got Alabama over LSU. I believe Alabama’s run defense is going to be the difference, and LSU is run heavy.”

DeAngelo Gibbs, 2017 5-star cornerback (uncommitted) — “Bama wins by 14. Defense wins games and Bama has been playing great defense lately.”

Nate McBride, 2017 4-star linebacker (uncommitted) — “I’m not sure. It’s going to be a single-digit game, though. I’m excited to watch it.”

Jaden Hunter, 2017 4-star linebacker (uncommitted) — “It’ll be a good game, but I don’t know who will win.”

Patrick Surtain, Jr., 2018 4-star cornerback (uncommitted) — “It’s going to be a good defensive battle and it’s going to come down to the wire. I’ll say the game is going to play out how it did in 2011. LSU wins, 9-6.”

B.J. Emmons, 2016 4-star running back (Alabama commit) — “I don’t have a prediction. It’s just going to be a good game.”

Miller Forristall, 2016 3-star tight end (Alabama commit) — “Bama will win 24-14. Bama’s ability to control the line of scrimmage will be the deciding factor.”

Jake Fromm, 2017 4-star quarterback (Alabama commit) — “I think it’s going to be a great game with an unreal atmosphere, and I believe if (Jake) Coker has a good game Alabama, will pull it out by a touchdown.”

Cam Akers, 2017 4-star running back (Alabama commit) — “A win is a prediction. I don’t have a specific score, though.”

Xavier McKinney, 2017 4-star safety (Alabama commit) — “21-17 Alabama. LSU has a great offense, but I think Alabama has one of the best defensive cores that’s in the game. I think all they have to do is shut down (Leonard) Fournette and then LSU will run out of options.”

Netori Johnson, 2017 4-star offensive lineman (Alabama commit) — “ ‘Bama will win 38-35 because I know they can stop to pass, but I think they may have a problem with the run but Leonard Fournette won’t be able to do everything, and when they shut him down, they will win.”

Tre Swilling, 2017 3-star defensive back (uncommitted) — “’Bama 21-14.”

Bruce Jordan-Swilling, 2017 4-star athlete (uncommitted) — “LSU, 21-19”

Devonta Jason, 2018 4-star wide receiver (LSU commit) — “LSU, 17-10”

No. 26 DL from Jackson (Ga.) Michail Carter Closing in On Decision. Two SEC Schools Lead?

Scout 300 defensive tackle Michail Carter may not be far from a decision. He has cut his list to five schools and there have been discussions about a decision...

Michail Carter is the kind of young man who doesn't like to tell anyone no.
Well, he has to in recruiting. Over 20 schools have offered the 6-foot-3, 311 pound defensive tackle out of Jackson (Ga.) and he has cut his list to five. The schools remaining on Carter's list are Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, and Georgia Tech. During the recrutiitng process, the No. 26-ranked defensive tackle on Scout has spent time on each of the five campuses.

He is not sure yet on just how many official visits he will take, but three is likely the most he potentially could take based on what we are hearing now, and it may not even be that many. A decision could come sooner than later, and some close to him feel Carter already has a very good idea of where he wants to go. There have been discussions about the decision recently between those close to him, so it is something on Carter's mind.
Alabama and Georgia have been thought to be his top schools.

Anyone else realize that Bama hasn't gotten an commitment for this years class in about 3 months. It looks like NSD will be huge this year.

Thats a big drought but recruiting is notorious for slowing during football season. Those that chose to wait until after their official visits to decide (or H.S. season), still probably have a few more to go through. Still after a big recruiting such as this weekend, usually brings about 1 or 2 commits. Sometimes from future classes.

Ben Davis changed his prediction. Looks like the envelope I dropped off had its desired effect.
