A report has said that #OleMiss QB commit Shea Patterson may consider #Bama. Will he flip?
LOL no.

Sounds like Shea knows exactly how to get a good contract bump.

From ellitor on Terrell Hall being Bama's top target at Jack:
I sure hope we aren't putting all of our eggs in the Simmons basket. That basket has a massive hole in it.

Doesn't look like it. He says UF stands out right now and not sure Bama will even get an OV. He's finalizing an OV date for AU FWIW.

Supposedly he has said that if anything happens with Ole Miss,he will head to Alabama.
What can happen at Missus not mentioned.

It does not mean we don't want Little, just that we accept the decsion he has made to go elsewhere.
Reports today about committment date change and OV's seem to have muddied the waters again. So who knows anymore.

This class has been kind of meh so far. Hopefully we can get some momentum this season.
I suppose that is the price for hiring coaches over recruiters. I prefer having the product on the field any day over stars on signing day, but it would be nice to get some higher-ranked commitments soon.

Freeze taking another job is all I can think...

If Bo Scarborough was really suspended for taking $$$ from Ole Miss to visit, certainly there has to be some kind of penalty for Ole Miss, correct?

One would think so, but I wonder if our staff just did it as a precaution?

His brother is Class of 2016 5-star WR Nate Craig-Myers.
It appears Mr. Myers got a little freaky between the sheets around 18 years ago.

RB Najee Harris
Class: 2017
High School: Antioch (Antioch, California)
247Sports Composite Ranking: No. 1 running back; No. 6 overall
Recruitment Status: Committed to Alabama
Highlights of the Month
Folks searching for Alabama's next big-time back should set their sights on West Coast standout Najee Harris. The 6'2", 220-pound Crimson Tide commit collected another 722 rushing yards during his past three games, according to MaxPreps.
Harris rumbled for 360 yards and six scores in the most recent matchup, a 55-37 win over Liberty. He erupted for four runs of at least 46 yards, as noted by Nate Smith of the Contra Costa Times, including a game-opening 59-yard burst.
His 12.6-yards-per-carry average through eight contests serves as a strong indication of Harris' burgeoning abilities. Harris is on pace to easily surpass 2,000 rushing yards for a second straight season, finding the end zone 25 total times to this point.
"All the 5-star stuff, I don't really care about all that," Harris told Bleacher Report's Damon Sayles. "I don't look back and say, 'I'm the No. 1 running back. I should be able to do this or do that.' I just want to go out, play and win."

does anyone know if the BOL nuggets had any good news?

Very impressed with Fromm. And so are some other talent evaluators that I respect a lot (namely redfish and some of his coaching contacts). Can make all the throws. Seems to stand up very well in the face of pressure. Mobile. Maybe not Jalen Hurts level of mobility, and maybe not a classic dual threat in that he doesn't look to run unless he has to, but a mobile enough pocket passer. Probably about a 4.7 guy, which is about what Coker is. That's plenty good enough. Looks to have very good mechanics and release. Should be a very interesting battle at the QB position for the next few years between he, Barnett, and Hurts. We've massively upgraded this position.

I wonder about BB6. We all talk about how the kid is rail thin and needs to add some weight to be able to stay upright.
Then, in the middle of this season, he spends a few days in the hospital possibly needing some sort of blood transfusion(s). Seeing him after the Tennessee game, the kid is still as skinny as Screech.
Will he be able to put on the weight and what the heck put him in the hospital like that?
