Four Five Stars Who Could Be Rebels:

Gregory Little
Offensive Tackle, Allen (Texas) High School

National Rank: No. 2

Position Rank: [b]No. 1

Little visited Ole Miss on June 10. While across the nation Ole Miss isn't given much of a chance to land the country's top offensive lineman, there is a quiet hum surrounding his interest in the Rebels. We expect he will make an announcement on Nov. 4, his birthday, so we'll see if he makes it back to Oxford between now and then.

Chadarius Townsend article:

quote:

"His body frame is one of those where he can put on more weight," Tanner head coach Laron White told AL.com earlier this summer. "I think most people are looking at him as a defensive back. But if that doesn't work out, he could easily be a wide receiver. He's a playmaker-type guy."

Townsend said he could play on either side of the ball at the next level, or even return kicks.

"They don't know right now," Townsend said. "(Alabama) just says as an athlete. They say with the ball's in my hands, they like seeing me run with it."

UGA recruiting article:

quote:

We discussed the impact of UGA adding its fourth receiver (Give or take Charlie Woerner at tight end) for this class in Monday’s Recruiting Rewind.

Speed to burn is great. The Curtis commitment could be a sign of no confidence in reeling in Savannah’s Demetris Roberston. Curtis will be called on to stretch the field on “9” routes for the home run balls. That’s one of the key roles that Robertson would excel in at UGA.

UGA has trailed Stanford and Alabama for Robertson’s commitment for awhile now, although it did pull neck-and-neck with Alabama after Dawg Night.

Hall, who spent nearly a week in Tuscaloosa in mid-July both for camp as well as an invite-only cookout put on by Saban’s staff, is high on the Crimson Tide’s board and UA is expected to be a player for his signature along with Penn State, Maryland and several others.

Typically, prospects who back off of a commitment take their time before selecting the eventual program they’d like to sign with, so each school in the running could host Hall before the final call is made.Ohio State could remain a player for his services as well, considering he visited and camped in Columbus in late July (video below). The mid-July trip to Alabama was the Scout 300 prospect’s second trip to campus as a prospect.

That one didn't seem as homerish as the defensive one so maybe Saint's rant worked some.

That stuff was pretty vague. I don't have any sources, but I could just make something up like that.

I've decided to announce my commitment on National Signing Day, Feb. 3rd. Taking my time with the process.

I wonder if he will still have a spot by then.

Yeah, which targets have said NSD was their decision date?

-Dontavious Jackson
-Ben Davis
-Mack Wilson
-Devin White
????

If BOL really wants to release articles with zero new information, at least make it something worthwhile. I'd love to see an article on current Bama targets and when they are deciding.
