I don't know why anyone would play for UGA over other top schools. They will never win a title as long as Richt is there. They always lose a couple of games they shouldn't and act like thugs during the WLOCP.
We should recruit down to their level and offer his sister a scholarship at Alabama. Then deliver another blackout type beatdown in their stadium next year.

I hope he has a big year. I expected more from him.

WR is an open race this year at all positions. Considering his talent, I would be absolutely shocked if he doesn't get AT LEAST 40+ catches on the year.
Losing Cooper hurts, obviously, and no one on the roster will make as big of an impact...but at the other positions, I expect an upgrade in talent, if perhaps not playbook knowledge and execution. It may be, though, that the best blockers will get snaps, considering the QB situation.

Lots of reasons. WLOCP is a selling point for Georgia kids, not a negative.

If foster cant get on the field this year then he won't be a big loss should he decide to transfer next year.
While it's an open competition it still won't be easy to get reps. I expect Sims and Stewart to be our primary outside guys and Black to be our primary slot guy. So really I won't be shocked if Foster isn't a "starter" this year. Now, if he is truly doing all the little things right and buying in, he'll be our top option because the guy is that talented.
I can only chuckle when I see Lsu fans talk about the bevy of riches in their WR corps and everyone thinks ours will be average. We've got two former 5 stars that have been behind talented veterans since they arrived and other guys like Stewart and Sims that were top 100 players. We're loaded with talent at the position, but there's onlymkne football.

Saw this tidbit on the LSUrb regarding Donavaughn Campbell
We wouldn't steal an oline from LSU, would we?

Why was Campbell wearing a Bama hat at a basketball game the day after he committed to LSU?

Two of the country's top recruits play for the same high school, and could continue their defensive dominance for the same college program.
Carver-Montgomery High School outside linebacker Lyndell "Mack" Wilson and defensive end Marlon Davidson have been friends since middle school. They got their dream to play together in high school after Davidson transferred to Carver prior to last season from Greenville.
Wilson is rated as the No. 8 overall player in the nation in the 247Sports composite and Davidson is ranked No. 26. In the Rivals.com individual rankings, Davidson is the No. 2 overall prospect.
Now, the big question will be if they play together at the next level. Are they a package deal? Depends on which prospect you ask.
"Yes sir, we are more than likely going to the same school," Davidson said after Carver's Class 6A regional final win in Dothan, where both he and Wilson are on the basketball team. "You don't know for sure yet because we have different interests."
Wilson said that he and Davidson talk about it a lot, and that "Marlon's like a brother to me."
"I've been knowing him since the eighth grade," Wilson said. "It was a dream that we always talked about playing at the same high school and it happened. We're both being recruited hard and we've got the majority of the same offers. We always have talked about it, going to the same school. If it happens, it would be a dream come true."
The two said they are taking unofficial visits to Alabama this weekend, and Davidson mentioned a possible trip to Georgia next week. Auburn is also heavily in the mix.
Both players remained noncommittal on favorites.
"I have interest in a lot of schools," Davidson said. "He probably (has interest) schools in Alabama and Auburn, stuff like that, but I have interest in every school that offers me."
Wilson earned all-tournament honors. A starting forward, the 6-foot-2, 220-pound Wilson scored seven in a 55-34 win over Spanish Fort on Tuesday. He scored eight in a semifinal win over Dothan.
Davidson, a 6-foot-4, 260-pound prospect, played sparingly in the tournament. Carver is a loaded team with Alabama basketball signee Brandon Austin starting as a wing forward and Mississippi State signee Joseph Strugg starting at center.
Carver will play at BJCC Arena on Feb. 25 at 1:30 p.m. against either Shades Valley or Woodlawn.

He looks like a decent prospect, but may need to reshape his body a bit. Looks at least 20 lbs heavier than he should be.

I think he just got bumped up to 112th overall on Rivals.
He's pretty tall, so he may be able to support a little more weight. Like 340 wish.

One of the top players in the 2017 class announced that he had been offered by Alabama on Monday, and he's the son of a former NFL star.
Keyshawn Johnson Jr., son of the former NFL wide receiver with the same name, is a four-star recruit from Calabasas High School. Johnson is from Mission Viejo, Calif. It's natural that Alabama will offer more prospects out west due to offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin and outside linebackers coach Tosh Lupoi's ties in the region.
He told 247Sports that he personally spoke to Nick Saban about the offer.
Keyshawn Johnson was the No. 1 pick in the 1996 NFL Draft by the New York Jets. He also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers.
Johnson earned Pro Bowl honors three times in his 10-plus year career. He had more than 10,000 receiving yards in his career with 64 touchdowns.
The younger Johnson is the No. 93 overall player in the 247Sports composite rankings in the 2017 class.
He has offers from the likes of Florida State, Miami, Ohio State, Arizona State, Clemson and Tennessee, but USC has not yet offered.
According to MaxPreps, Johnson caught 41 passes for 572 yards and three touchdowns as a sophomore.

I think we only need Ben Davis. I think he will be the future at ILB. I would say we reall could use Davidson too on DL but we get Dlineman. We have lots of edge rushers so Mack would hurt but not that much.
We lose a lot on DL after this year. I think these are the exact type of kids we dont want going to the barn. (the carver duo).

It was said last year, but I still kinda agree that Cavin isn't high on the WR board.
Hell, they have even ignored Eli Stove and Marquez Calloway for a while...
