COCOA BEACH, Fla. -- A number of the Southeast's top athletes players turned out for the Pylon 7-on-7 regional tournament at Cocoa Beach High School over the weekend. Below is a look at which prospects stood out on the offensive side of the ball during the first day of competition. .

2. Demetris Robertson
The nation's No. 1 ranked athlete was playing in his first-ever club 7-on-7 tournament as a member of Pro Impact, but looked like a natural while consistently getting open on Saturday. Robertson's speed has always been one of his biggest advantages, but now he's up to 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds, and has added some physicality to go with his always-impressive agility. The Alabama commit has always impressed in camps, and now he can add 7-on-7 excellence to his already impressive resume.

6. Darnell Saloman
Saloman has a long list of prestigious offers and for good reason. On Saturday, he made a pair of one-handed catches and caught at least two touchdowns on jump balls that saw him out-jump multiple defensive backs. His 6-foot-2 frame comes with plenty of strength that complements his length, and the speed he shows off on go routes and fades is impressive. Alabama, USC, South Carolina and Florida State are all schools of interest for Salomon.

Alabama commit Demetris Robertson will visit Auburn and Georgia.
Five-star athlete Demetris Robertson maintained that he's 100 percent committed to Alabama and said the Tide have told him that his role at the school will most likely be on offense. Robertson has bulked up to 6-foot-1, 175 pounds and said Nick Saban told him directly that he can be a star at wide receiver. Robertson still intends to take a look around over the next few months, with visits to Georgia and Auburn on tap in the spring. One thing to watch is the recruitment of his twin sister, who Robertson said is being pursued hard by both the Dawgs and the Tigers for track. He said the plan is for the two to go to school together.
So those two schools can offer his sister but we can't?

I think we can work something out.

I don't understand it. either Robertson's sister actually has talent unlike Ledbetter's brother who deserves to be on scholarship as a TE about as much as Bobby Williams deserves to be our TE coach, or Godwin's sister who could barely do jack shite at juco, but got a D1 scholarship because of her brother.

gatordmb mentioned on the recruiting board that Adonis Thomas was the flip he was predicting on NSD. whew. seems like we came really close to losing two of our crown jewels of this past recruiting class at the eleventh hour.

Meh. He's good at reading between the lines but he doesn't have any legit connections.
It was more wishful thinking on his part.

Of course not I'm serious. There is a reason Saban hasn't offered this kid. It's has nothing to do with his recruiting ranking. If Bama misses on some other CB targets, he might get a offer then. It will be too late by then, this kid is going to Auburn.

We offered a CB from MS today:
Nigel Knott Highlights
His high school is a few miles from my in-laws house in Madison. I may be able to get a report on him.

Apparently the staff really liked this kid's film.
He could def use some conditioning though.

If we can get Willie Allen and Deonte Brown in the fold I'd be pretty happy.

Already a crystal ball in for Brown.

Willing to bet we take another interior lineman. I hope this kid is in shape. Remember the other big lineman from 2 years ago. Forgot his name but he had great film but couldn't control his weight.
