My fault I meant Bateman. Of course not Cornwell. I don't see Bateman sticking around after spending some time at WR this spring. I think the reason they wont two is depth. Also I think its good that we get some guys that have to develop so they don't have the expectations of coming in and playing right away.

If Bateman was going to transfer, seems like he would have done it after spring. As much time as he spent at WR in the spring, it is clear he isn't an option at QB.

I also think Bateman and Morris just enjoy being at Alabama as well

His mechanics are shaky at best. He ran a 4.73 which isn't exactly elite considering he has to use his athleticism to mask flaws in his passing game.

He's really raw, and he comes from an area where a lot of players get in trouble.

I'd rather take our chances with 2 QBs next year. Jake Fromm and a dual threat would be a great haul.

Nice response. I appreciate it.

Some dude posted this on BOL in regards to Pass:
quote:

Yeah guys, this fell in my lap today. I heard that he has already committed to the staff but is waiting to announce at 4. Hopefully what I heard is true. This guy is spot on with what he tells me. Can't never have enough good options at the most important position. RTR

I think with the QB race still being unsettled, he may believe he has a shot. Blake Sims was an after thought at one point, also previously been moved to other positions, and won the battle after a fantastic turnaround in fall camp.

I think Morris might see the benefit of staying, even if he doesn't play football next year. Grad year leap might be tempting though, just to show what he has.

I'm surprised they haven't tried Morris at HBack, he's built pretty well and owns some weight lifting records at Allen. Probably because he has hands of stone and/or has the elegance of a slightly tipsy giraffe...

Cornwell
cornwell will be the guy, if not this year than next. He has all the tools to be exceptional. I don't see barnett beating him, especially if we are going to get back to the hard nosed ball of 08-12, which is what it sounds like saban wants to do
