Former Georgia quarterback Jacob Park is set to enroll at Navarro College, a junior college in Corsicana, Tex., according to a report from Chip Towers of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Towers reports that Park's father, Adam, confirmed the news.

“He will be the starter (at Navarro) and that’s all he wanted, was to play,” Adam Park told Towers via text message.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound signal caller was set to compete for Georgia's starting quarterback job this spring but Brice Ramsey and Faton Bauta received the vast majority of the first-team reps during both closed scrimmages and at G-Day.

Choosing the JUCO route allows Park to play in 2015 and transfer to the school of his choice after the season because he was a full academic qualifier coming out of high school. His named had been linked with TCU, Texas, and Alabama before the final decision was made.

I liked him coming out of high school, but I'm glad he's not coming to Alabama.

If today were Signing Day ... N.C. State would be the choice. There is a long time between now and Signing Day, but the Wolfpack has been a team Lawrence consistently says is recruiting him the hardest and the school he has visited the most.

This is why I pay very little attention to any of these sites. He lives 5 minutes from the campus and is up there all the time hanging with friends. This makes it out like he is there talking with the football staff all the time which is not the case. The have him rated very high but yet the big programs are not pushing as hard for someone with such a rating.

On Devin White

quote:

"They're pushing real hard, because the depth chart at Alabama is so slim right now," White told AL.com at The Opening in Oregon on Friday. "They have three running backs and two could leave, so they need someone to come in and contribute right away. They think I can be one of the Nick Saban backs — one of the bigger backs that can run downhill, run outside and do all types of versatile things."

The Hulk was recruiting him hard at the Opening.

FWIW, don't be surprised (per one of these people who have proven their reliability to me) if something happens with Greg Little this week. Possibly a decommitment. Think we're in really good shape here at the moment.

I can assure you it isn't me. But the guys giving me the info (in the redfish/DrewD circle) are extremely plugged in. But as far as Little goes, . Reel him in, Super Mario!
