He didnt have any inside info, just going on his gut. Basically he thinks there is very few spots left to fill other needs to take another QB, also with his brother being there and the opportunity to maybe start fom Day 1.

Interesting. Last I read Bone thinks we will take two QBs.

Terrell Hall thought his recruitment was done on March 2 when he committed to play for Ohio State.
But several major programs, including Alabama, are still in pursuit of the four-star defensive end from Washington, D.C. Hall visited Alabama in early June and will make another trip to Tuscaloosa next Monday.
He also mentioned Penn State, Maryland and Georgia as other schools on his mind. He recently visited Maryland and said Georgia wants him to visit, but the 6-foot-5, 250-pound Hall said his only other planned visits were Alabama and Ohio State.

Hall also mentioned how playing in the SEC would be a good selling point. He had high marks for his June 6 visit. Alabama assistants Mario Cristobal and Kirby Smart are his primary recruiters.

The No. 1 overall prospect, Paramus (N.J.) Catholic’s, Rashan Gary lived up to his billing on the first day of 1-on-1s. During position drills, he showed the same powerful hands and initial drive that make him a terror during games. His size/pure power made him almost unblockable in reps against several highly-touted offensive linemen. Few linemen with his size can play 5-technique, but Gary has the ability to play inside or out, and looked like a high upside, immediate contributor on Wednesday.

1. Erick Fowler - Fowler looks like a linebacker, but in today's game edge rushers come in all shapes and sizes. Fowler used his hands well and showed great natural instincts during position drills and 1-on-1's. The LSU commitment gave offensive tackles Calvin Ashley and E.J. Price fits with his speed.
2. Brian Burns - Burns played the role of a young Jevon Kearse off the edge Wednesday. He was hard to beat, and was neck-and-neck with Fowler for the No. 2 pass rusher out there.
3. Rashard Lawrence - The second-best interior defensive lineman was clearly Lawrence, a thickly-built rock with an impressive repertoire of moves. Lawrence is adept and turning his body upfield for a 300-pounder, and although he fired off high at times, his rip move got him past most guards in attendance.

Gary's rep against Greg Little comes out on top. The coaches all ran to hug the No. 1 overall prospect after engulfed the No. 2 overall prospect and exploded to the quarterback.

- At first glance, Shane Simmons and Janarius Robinson stood out physically among the defensive linemen. But once 1-on-1 competition began, Oluwole Betiku emerged as a third possibility for the "off the bus" competition. He has the look of a three-down defender at the next level.
- McTelvin Agim looked very explosive early on in the day, but had to be told several times not to rely on bull rush moves. He seemed to get better as the day went on, and took the coaching well as they worked to correct and refine his hand use.
- Caleb Roddy stood out in position drills because of his high motor and raw physical ability. The LSU commitment was up-and-down during 1-on-1s, but it was apparent his best football is in front of him.
- When it came to pure explosiveness off the edge, after Fowler and Burns, it was Jonathon Cooper who impressed the most Wednesday. He had issues whenever he did not win with initial quickness, getting redirected into another blocker, but the Buckeyes commitment still won several battles with pure speed.
- Alabama defensive lineman Raekwon Davis took visits to LSU and Alabama this summer, and said he intends on taking official visits to Auburn and Miami. Only one school has mentioned offensive line to the 6-foot-8 lineman - UGA. Davis said in the end, he will play wherever the coaches tell him when he gets to college.
- Speaking with a source close to the recruitment of five-star Texas A&M commitment Greg Little Wednesday, a close battle between Alabama and Ole Miss is being fought. Texas A&M was not mentioned, but right now the Crimson Tide have a slight edge. A November decision has been mentioned for the soft commitment, but expect this one to last through February.
ETA: The nanas are for the Little nugget, not the Davis one.
