5-Star DE Marlon Davidson Updates Recruiting

PRATTVILLE, AL --- Five star defensive end Marlon Davidson, from Greenville High School, was in attendance at Prattville's camp with Jim Harbuagh.
Davidson said that Michigan has made a big push to get him recently, especially surrounding the satellite camp.

"My timeline with my decision making process, I'm thinking around November or late December," said Davidson. "I'd like to get my top schools out, just knowing that when I have it out, it's going to be it."

He also said that Auburn, Alabama, and Georgia remain favorites as well. He is currently preapring for his senior year, but plans to get to his college of choice early.

"I plan to graduate early," said Davidson. "Try to get out of school so I can head to college early. I'm going to go ahead and get that narrowed out, and have everything done with."

Recruiting: Lyndell Wilson Waiting To Narrow His Choices

MONTGOMERY, AL

Carver High School's Lyndell Wilson calls it a blessing to have more than 30 football scholarship offers. "When I was younger, I just stuck to playing football and looking up to people like C.J Mosley, and stayed with that mentality. I never knew I would have college offers from everyone across the country," Wilson said.

The five-star linebacker will narrow down his college choices to seven on August 15th, after he makes all his official visits. Wilson recently attended a camp at Alabama in May, and continued to speak very high of the Crimson Tide on Thursday. "I keep getting chances to talk to Coach Smart about how I fit into the defense, and I feel very comfortable that if I would attend that school that I will play,"

Playing time is high on Wilson's priority list along with academics and team chemistry. "It's very important to me because I'm one of those type of guys that my team is like my brothers. Those are the people you're going to spend time with the most so you have to be close," he said.

"And you obviously feel that at Alabama?," asked reporter Christina Chambers.
"Yeah, they're tight," said Wilson.

Wilson cancelled a trip this weekend to attend a football camp in Tampa, Florida, all to help his football team raise money in their car wash fundraiser. "He wants to be here with his teammates and he's actually doing double duty that day, playing basketball in a summer tournament here. In between games, he's going to help come out and wash cars to help the team fundraiser. It just speaks highly of what kind of person he is," head football coach Billy Gresham said.

Wilson will visit USC on June 27th, and then head to Oregon July 7-10th for the Nike event , The Opening, and also visit the Univeristy of Oregon.

Some of Wilson's scholarship offers include Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Miami, MIssissippi State, Ohio State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, Vanderbilt, and Florida.
