Ben Davis
Gordo HS/Gordo, Ala.
Davis' recruitment is as open as things come. It's hard to project where the country's top inside linebacker may land. Alabama seems to hold an ever-so-so-slight lead.

Will Ignont (2017)
Buckhorn HS/New Market, Ala.
It seems unlikely that Ignont will leave his home state for college, as Alabama and Auburn are the two schools on the top of his list. Georgia, Ole Miss and LSU are also involved, but prying top talent out of Alabama is often a tall task.

Nate McBride (2017)
Vidalia HS/Vidalia, Ga.
Georgia, Alabama and several other schools have already offered the talented underclassman. Also a standout track athlete, McBride is one of the best pure athletes in his class.

Devin White
North Webster HS/Springhill, La.
White is being recruited at both running back and linebacker and could easily be a standout on either side of the ball. He is currently keeping an open mind to his options.

Lyndell Wilson
Carver HS/Montgomery, Ala.
Wilson visited Auburn in early May and the five-star linebacker is likely to land there or at in-state rival Alabama. He has yet to trim his list, but it seems clear that the Tide and Tigers will be among those left standing when he does.

Jaquan Yulee
Indian River HS/Chesapeake, Va.
Yulee is set to announce his commitment on June 4 and will be choosing from Alabama, Florida State, Michigan State, North Carolina and Virginia Tech. He's visiting Tuscaloosa the weekend before his commitment.

He pushed his announcement back.

Gregory Little

Little committed to Texas A&M the summer before his junior season, but he is taking a good look around at his options. Alabama has caught his attention along with UCLA,LSU, Georgia, Ohio State and USC.

Gaines may or may not jump on his Alabama offer, but Auburn and Texas are also players in his recruitment. Alabama may hold a slight edge, assuming he's a take for the Tide.

The Alabama decommit is high on Georgia, Stanford and Notre Dame, with several visits planned this offseason. The Cardinal and Irish are already in line for official visits this fall.

With his off-field issues now seemingly behind him, Salomon is being heavily recruited by a long list of schools. Alabama and Oklahoma seem most involved with his recruitment.

2017 defensive end Jarez Parks out of Sebastian (Fla.) Sebastian River is now ranked by 247Sports as the No. 16 prospect in the country. That ranking places him as the No. 1 weakside defensive end.

The huge ranking debut is due to a number of factors. At 6-5, 255-pounds, Parks collected 13 sacks as a sophomore. That was his first year ever playing football. In his spring game, he picked up four more sacks. Parks is also one of the state of Florida's top discus throwers with a mark of 168 feet 8 inches. He's an accomplished shot put thrower as well with a mark of 51 feet 8 inches. Over the weekend, 247Sports saw Parks up close during the University of Miami's 7on7 and despite his size, he was running with receivers and making plays in space all over the field.

Already Parks has attracted offers from the likes of Florida State, Alabama, Michigan, Clemson, Florida and Miami. His ranking could continue to rise as he polishes up his game and gets more experience.

Currently Florida is in good shape at this early stage of Parks' recruitment.

I can't see the video on my work computer. Anyone care to watch it and post their predictions?

The road to crowning the Elite 11 for the 2016 class will see 30 of the nation's top quarterbacks compete in Los Angeles this weekend in the camp's first-ever semifinal competition.

This group of passers earned the trip to Southern California after excelling in the Nike Opening Regional camps held in the previous three months.

After the two-day event, the Elite 11 staff—led by ESPN analyst Trent Dilfer—will then whittle down the crop of quarterbacks that will move on to compete in the Elite 11 finals at the The Opening held at Nike headquarters next month.

What should fans be looking to learn from this weekend’s competition?

Let’s take a look in this primer for the first ever Elite 11 semifinals.

The Field

The who's who of 2016 signal-callers features 26 quarterbacks who have already committed to Power Five schools.

Six schools each from the ACC, Big Ten and Big 12 have commitments represented in the field—which ties for the lead among conferences.

Also, 12 of the top 15 pro-style passers will be in attendance—including the 5-star trio of Georgia pledge Jacob Eason, Ole Miss commit Shea Patterson and Florida State pledge Malik Henry.

Seven of the top 10 dual-threat quarterbacks will also be accounted for—with 4-star LSU commit Feleipe Franks and uncommitted standout Jawon Pass anchoring that group.

This group possesses everything from NFL prototype quarterbacks to undervalued field generals who have been dominant on the prep level.

What's at Stake

The quarterbacks will go through on-field drills and classroom instruction before a final evaluation in the form of a seven-on-seven competition will help the Elite 11 counselors select the group of finalists.

While all of the passers in attendance have established themselves as major college prospects, making it to the Elite 11 finals is often one of the main goals for young quarterbacks across the nation.

After this weekend, the field of 30 will be cut to 18 lucky passers who will earn a chance to compete in the Elite 11 finals at The Opening from July 5-11, per Student Sports.

With all of the talent on hand, expect the competition to be fierce.

Favorites and Sleepers

All eyes will be guys such as Eason, Henry, Pass and Patterson.

The 6'5", 205-pound Eason is the nation's top-rated passer, so it will be interesting to monitor whether he becomes the measuring stick for the group.

Henry—who will head back home to California after his offseason transfer to IMG Academy in Florida—is another gifted passer who put on a show at the Atlanta Opening Regional in March and took home MVP honors for the quarterback segment.

While those guys are household names in recruiting circles, others such as 3-star Texas Tech pledge Jett Duffey and 3-star Boston College pledge Anthony Brown are not.

The 6'0", 171-pound Duffey, who earned MVP honors in New Orleans and Charlotte, according to Bleacher Report's Damon Sayles, has emerged as a star over the last couple of months. If he can carry over his performances from the regional camps, he should make a strong case to make the finals.

Brown is another player who burst onto the scene following a dominant showing at the Columbus regional last week.

According to Bleacher Report's Tyler Donohue, Brown took home the MVP award out of a loaded field after showcasing his accuracy and consistency.

Regardless, the weekend's festivities should be a good barometer for establishing the cream of the crop in the 2016 quarterback class.

that would be crazy if we could land little to bookend williams. Both of those guys could be all american level LT or RT. Along with the interior ol talent we have been stockpiling, our oline would be set for years

Sure bro

It's Sanjay Kirpalani quick hit predictions

1. Jeremiah Moon - Says if Bama offers it could be a different outcome but is unlikely to, but right now he guesses the Dawgs
Prediction: Miss State

2. Darius Whitfield - Thinks his recruitment plays out like younger Cashers & he eventually gets an offer from Bama. Says FSU might be a factor but if/when Bama offers it is over.
Prediction: Bama

3. Marlon Davidson - Thinks he's visited AU a lot, went to BCW etc. Says he's a perfect fit on Muschamp's D
Prediction: Auburn

4. Ben Davis - Says he can't see Wayne Davis' son going anywhere but Alabama. Thinks its very close to a lock
Prediction: Bama

5. Lyndell Wilson - Thinks he has connections to both Bama and AU, but Bama's pull with playing time going to be available and being former teammate & friends with SDH & molding himself after CJ Mosley.
Prediction: Bama

I'll take it
