Demetris Robertson is currently committed to Alabama, but the coaching staff will have to continue to be active in the pursuit of his services, so he cracks this list. Georgia, Auburn, Florida State, USC and many, many others have tracked the two-way threat and he’s reciprocated plenty of the interest in the process. Robertson was back on campus for junior day late last month, but the battle for his signature will likely stretch until February 3, 2015.

I'm surprised Raekwon Davis is ranked so low.

He really needs to focus on lower body strength this off-season. It's frustrating to watch him go down so easily, when the guy is so huge and athletic. He has nfl level abilities, but he just needs to round out his skills.
He also needs to learn how to run behind his pads. Get some high knee action going when he gets to the hole. But man, can he get to the edge on the sweeps and counters.

I imagine Robertson's recruitment will be a circus

Has the staff conceded CeCe? Or is there still a shot? I assume the Gators still don't have the LOI.

What position does Robertson project?

We are recruiting him as a DB

UF has reached out to TEs coach Larry Scott from Miami about their vacancy. No interview yet.
The fact that they are reaching out to others tells me that they aren't confident of getting Napier.

No LOI yet for the Gators. Just a bunch of twitter promises. I don't think the staff will concede him until he signs and faxes his LOI. That being said, we have almost no chance of getting him. I think he can still be on scholarship at UF if his parents refuse to sign the LOI. He just has to wait until the summer and show up on campus.

If they want a TEs coach, they'd be smart to reach out directly to the guru, Bobby Williams.

Hope this doesnt come back to hurt us. Everything I have seen shows he is a better WR prospect.

I should have clarified that this is for their still vacant WR coaching job. There was some speculation a few weeks ago that Napier would take that job after NSD. The fact that Mc is still reaching out to candidates tells me he doesn't have the hire in his back pocket like some thought he did.

I could see us letting him choose whether he wants DB or WR. Kind of like how we recruited Godwin this past cycle.

Hey guys. Long time lurker, first time poster. I look forward to contributing to the info on here. I will tell you guys from lurking that most of you aren't nearly as excited as you should be on Ronnie Harrison. CNS considers him the best safety to ever come through his camps. They think he's a 1st round draft pick in 3 years. RTR!

quote:no, I understood it perfectly. Maybe instead of guru, I spooks have said Jack of all trades. He's a master TE and ST coach, so WRs are a breeze for BMFW.

:kige:
If all of our coaches were as good as Bobby Williams we would never lose a game. I hope Bobby takes over when CNS retires.

Welcome. Post more often.

I am excited about Ronnie. This is the first time in a couple of years where we have gotten both safety prospects we were after, plus one (SBB). Did you see Ronnie's one-handed catch?
