Actually, it's Atlantic Station. Midtown...not downtown.

Who did we steal JK from? Dear god out of all the 5*s the MVP of our entire 2014 season was a punter

Wasn't he a 2-star like most punters and kickers?
Edit: Oh I see he was a 3-star.

Anyone know the scoop on Breiden Fehoko? Top 50 DT from Hawaii that we pursued who is now enrolled at Texas Tech. How on earth does a elite defensive player from Hawaii end up there?

2 brothers who played there.
One is an assistant there now, the other I think was a senior this year.

It seems our prize the last two years have been JK Scott and Cole Mazza. The staff is relentless at every position.

Looks like we got another cb for Harris, this time from Nick Burch, a UL contributor.

Bill Kurelic, the main writer for Ohio State, just CB'd Harris to Alabama.

Love seeing this class coming together
Let's talk the front 7 for next yr...I love the idea of Rashaan moving inside allowing Tim Williams and Ryan Anderson playing the edge. I think Bama will see more depth inside with this move more importantly, with SDH and depending on what Ragland does and Adonis Thomas coming in as well. Da'Shawn Hand I think sees work on the edge and at DE some, he was a great pass rusher this yr in his opportunities. I do expect Johnathan Taylor to be the starter at NG and he's athletic and quick enough to play from 0 - 2 tech allowing A'shawn to slide over and play 3 - 5 depending on the DL and Jon Allen playing the other side. I'm hoping we see more of Deval off the edge instead of coverage and I hope he can stay healthy. I also am excited to see more of Tomlinson and Liner in the 4 man fronts, just move Hand to end. I'm stoked about this group moving forward.

Ben Davis has a Top 8:
quote:
“I don’t really have a top five. It’s more like eight. It would be Alabama, Auburn, LSU, UGA, Ole Miss, Florida State and Kentucky," said Davis. “I want to visit Alabama again, but I have to talk to my parents and see where they want to go too. I haven’t really scheduled anything, but want to see Auburn, Florida State, Ole Miss, Kentucky and Georgia definitely. I want to see Tennessee too. I don’t have a leader at this time.

If Nick Saban and his staff lock up Harris, it moves Alabama’s class score up to 313.39, which would’ve been good enough to finish with the No. 1 class 11 different times on Signing Day when looking back through the 247Sports rankings all the way to the year 2000. The highest-rated class ever was Florida’s haul in 2010 that finished with a score of 322.79.
The top-ranked prospect in Kentucky and the nation’s No. 30 player overall according to the 247Sports Composite, Harris made himself a national recruit after attending the Best of the Midwest Combine in Indianapolis twice. The first time he made a name for himself prior to his sophomore year and the second time he ran a sub 4.4 40-yard dash this past February. Alabama just happened to offer that day. Florida State was three days later.
In his high school career, Harris rushed for 111 touchdowns, and it would have been much more had he not went down with an injury his senior year. He finished his final campaign with 97 carries for 1,576 yards and 23 touchdowns. Harris averaged a touchdown every 4.71 times he touched the ball during his prep career.

The inaugural Elite 50 Experience presented by Under Armour was held in Orlando, Fla. during Under Armour All America Game week with more than 50 of the top 2016 and 2017 prospects in the country competing and taking in the atmosphere. Rivals.com Recruiting Director Mike Farrell takes a look at 10 players that look college ready based on their physical attributes and performance.
Prospects are listed in alphabetical order and not based on performance or physical stature and only players that participated are included.
quote:
DT Derrick Brown
Sugar Hill (Ga.) Lanier
Brown looks not only like a college defensive tackle but already has NFL size at nearly 310 pounds with little bad weight. He has worked on staying low and improving his leverage and he is quicker than ever. He's a load who will be hard to handle for anyone at the next level.

DE Marlon Davidson
Montgomery (Ala.) Carver
Davidson is a huge defensive end who has played a lot standing up and it's easy to see why. He's very athletic, has a great first step and shows great balance. He reminds me physically of a leaner Marvin Austin who can play outside and that's saying something as Austin was a freak out of high school. Davidson is freaky too, in a good way.

LB Ben Davis
Gordo, Ala.
Davis is listed at 216 pounds, but he looks much bigger. No heights and weights were taken, but I would suspect he's in the 6-foot-3, 230-pound range and moves very well. He was impressive in coverage and looks like he could fit in at many Power Five schools already. It will be a very interesting battle between Davis and Lyndell Wilson for No. 1 linebacker in a loaded year in Alabama.

QB Jacob Eason
Lake Stevens, Wash.
Eason is still skinny but he's shooting up in size and height at nearly 6-foot-6 with a great frame. He could easily pass for a college quarterback if you didn't know he was just a junior in high school. It will be fun to watch the Georgia commit as he fills out. It looks like he could end up Ryan Mallett size.

LB Rahshaun Smith
Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances
Smith sounds like a 30-year-old when you talk to him with his deep voice and maturity. On the field, he moves like a college outside or inside linebacker. He can cover so much space, is very good at flipping his hips and is strong and filled out. He's obviously going to continue to grow and add strength, but right now he could suit up for anyone and not be out of place.
