The duo were on team Highlight together this past week for the Under Armour game and each was voted a team captain. The duo was inseparable during the week. Does Harris ultimately want to have a chance to win a national championship and be surrounded by elite talent, or does he prefer to be the centerpiece of a rebuilding effort at UK in the tough SEC. Alabama has been in the National Championship chase for 7 straight years while UK, despite being improved, lost their last six games in 2014…stay tuned…RTR!

It looked as though Lawrence Cager, the WR from Towson, Maryland’s Calvert Hall High School would commit to Alabama at the Army All-American game, bit the 6-5 202-pounder was told by OC Lane Kiffin on Saturday to try and commit but was told he did not have a spot at this time due to the numbers overall & at his position. Kiffin did tell Cager a spot could open up later in the process and wants him to officially visit. This may not happen as his parents are understandably not pleased he was put on hold basically. He had a 54 yard TD on his only catch on Saturday. One reason for the non-committable offer to Cager is that UA is still very interested in bringing Patterson, Louisiana, WR Daylon Charlot back into the fold. He committed to UA last February 1st at Junior Day before de-committing in December after his official visit to home-state LSU. The electric playmaker had a 54-yard punt return TD during the Under Armour game, and if he takes the official visit to Alabama that is scheduled on January 16th, the Crimson Tide staff feels confident he will re-pledge to the Tide, though homestate pressure will be great until signing day. Alabama is also still recruiting Calloway (Ga.) HS receiver Terry Godwin, who has been a long-time commit to the in-state Bulldogs, who are still searching for an OL coach & OC. Godwin will be a tough pull with his sister playing basketball at UGA, but Alabama will lay out the red carpet treatment on his visit on January 23rd.

I'm expecting him to commit to Bama too much momentum in our favor right now...and consider he was at the UA practices all week and the game around a bunch of Bama commits...and hes announcing soon, but I worry about keeping him if he commits unless he shuts it down, hopefully he will. It's different than Elam to me because like Dontari Poe, Sheldon Richardson, Haloti Ngata...guys don't really have to go to a big school to get noticed, but at RB it takes a good offense and OL, can't make an impact at a school that isn't a contender already, look at Russell Shell, just my opinion.

I have been one of the ones who wants Taylor. Look the DL was ridiculous this year, imagine basically keeping everyone we have except Ivory, but adding the closest thing to Marcell Dareus (Payne at the 3 tech) AND a more svelt athletic version of Terrence Cody to take over at the 0 tech. Bama is basically gonna dare people to run it, let the DL take up blocks and move Rashaan inside to pair with Rueb. Bo Davis is a HUGE Jonathan Taylor fan and that is enough for me...the DL took HUGE leaps and bounds from last yr to this yr under his coaching & expect to see more steps in the future. These 2 additions allow Bo to experiment more with outside rush guys, having a true NT makes such a huge difference.

The UGA247 site is reporting that Rico plans to OV in January there (already knew that) but that their sources are saying that he wants to play cornerback and that he likes how many young players Pruitt played last year.

I don't think that we are recruiting him as a pure cornerback, so I hope that doesn't bite us in the arse.

The biggest thing in Bama's corner is that his mom is strongly in favor of him going to Alabama.

Per 247, Alabama leads for CVO. We could also get KJ Hill's commitment if we give him the green light.

Not saying Barnett is the next Favre... but besides being a darn funny quote, it is something to keep in mind about evaluations.
