A few "no calls" on auburns LT as well....which on one play he tackled the Bama DE on a play to that side which netted auburn 13 yards and eventually a fg.

He got a bunch of no calls whenever he went against Myles Garrett. Literally saw him tackle him 3 times for a no call

I forgot about the recruits there this weekend. I doubt they have or ever will experience a game like that with the atmosphere last night.

Newberg said that Auburn could be the favorite to land Cowart if they get Muschamp.

Not sure that concerns me. UF has more talent on D than AU and AUs D played better this season I thought.

One thing I have learned about CWM is his defenses seem to play sloppy and give up way to many stupid penalties. In the Big 12 you can get away with that when you expect the offense to score 50+ a game.

If Auburn gets the Champ we may have some tough years ahead boys.

I'm more concerned about the recruiting aspect particularly this year. Landing Muschamp may help them get Cowart and Cece.

I think they get Muschamp, but that's jmo.

As long as the run the HUNH they will give up yards and points. It is the nature of the beast.

Yeah. HUNH is gonna make them vulnerable. He is a hell of a recruiter though. He can also make their defense better than this year and last year. That could make them a scary team. I wish he would leave the conference.

Then again Cowart is a beast and I want him.

Doesn't Ellis have a sizable buyout and isn't AU just about topped out on paying off dead salaries? Not sure they are legit contenders for Boom.

ETA: I'm a dumbass. Been at work all day and didn't see Ellis had been given the pink slip.

UF is going to get a top HC IMO which will help keep players like Cowart and CeCe instate. Unless they drag it out but I would guess they already have their top candidate(s) and now that UF season is over word will leak out this week on their next hire. They understand how important timing is regarding recruitment.

I also would not be surprised to see CWM end up as a HC somewhere else in a smaller program to prove he can build and run a program. I also think he may wait before he jumps somewhere. If Kirby takes a HC job finally I think being at UA, especially as a DC would be far better than at AU.

The whole Muschamp to Auburn thing looks bad for y'all, but it's fixable. What Saban needs to do tomorrow is call in a few favors, announce Kirby to take over at Nebraska, call Boom (who, I'm certain, would much rather be back under Saban than under Gus), bring him into the fold, and then watch the Plains burn.

It's doable, man.

A staff of Saban, Kiffin, and Muschamp would be ridiculous

It'd be par for the course for Saban. I'd hate Bama if I were an Auburn or LSU fan and realized Saban's got former HCs working as damned position coaches.
