I want to, but it feels like he is out. Such a shame, big bust by Saban and the staff by not giving him more PT.

I hate reports like this:

@bartonsimmons: Per a source, Cameron Robinson would be a Top 10 pick if he was draft eligible this year: LINK @TimWatts_BOL

Now he's got 2.5 seasons to hear how great he is and how much money he's going to make as a pro. Not the best way to stave off entitlement.

To be fair, I think everyone knew this already. I think C-Rob knew this already.

Rumors are that he doesn't put forth the effort in practice. I see Cam Sims, a freshman, playing this year so that tells me that it isn't Saban not giving him the opportunity, but rather he not working for PT.

What kind of comment is that? Maybe he hasn't earned the right to play. We don't know what goes on.

Im assuming Black takes over at slot full time next season, Foster is listed behind Cooper on the official depth chart, Stewart in the slot, and Sims on the outside. I would honestly be thrilled with a 3 wide set of Foster, Ridley, and Black starting next season with Sims, Stewart, Kief, and Charlot coming off the bench. Stewart on KR and PR.

I am still trying to hold out hope on Foster, but it just seems like that ship has sailed. Unfortunately, I think the same can be said about Mr. Charlot.

I don't care about earning the right when it is a talent like Foster. I'm not saying let him play when it matters, but in garbage time? Keep him on the field and throw it to him.

Could be. And if he isn't giving effort, don't play him with the 1s. But you can build a kid's motivation if you let him play (garbage time) and feed him.

That's just it, the other WRs that I was referring to (Sims, etc) their PT was during garbage time. You don't award PT to players who slack off at practice, not even garbage time PT. If he (Foster) is sore-assed b/c he isn't being given PT then he can either work for it or transfer to a school that will baby him.

I don't think the ship has sailed. I honestly think it comes down to the position. He is the direct backup to cooper. I think Foster is one of those guys who is a gamer. I think he flips the switch during the off season. He took a RS, understandably because he was young and got there very late. This year I am disappointed. I thought he would be the #2 to Cooper. He has that AJ Green smoothness to him, I am going t hold out hope because if the ship had sailed, he would have already quit the team and started looking elsewhere.

IMO, its a bit of a 2-way street. I see people asking why is Ridley concerned, all he has to do is look at what Cooper is doing. Well, that's cool and all, but what about that other 5-Star receiver that can't even sniff the field?

I think the PT thing behind the starters does open up opportunities for negative comments like the one recently quoted from Dan Mullen. I think the same thing is happening with our RB recruiting in all honesty.

It all goes in cycles though, and once the offense gets to a point to where there is a minimal drop off on the road (versus at home), then kids will once again be lining up to play offense at Bama.

But we cant ignore the fact that some of these kids pay attention to everything. Foster was a big deal. Jones/Tenpenny/Kamara were also a big deal.

I hate when people (not so much Bama fans) try to use this argument against us when it comes to recruiting.

By saying that above thats like them saying we should have automatically given Tyler Love a starting spot b/c he was a 5-star.

Saban plays the players that give us the best chance to win......... at least I hope he does.

I don't think that's it. Even when Cooper has come out of games because he's banged up or needs a breather, Foster hasn't come in. When you consider how much he was featured on A-Day, it's pretty apparent to me he's stumbled down the depth chart. He has talent so I'm thinking he's in the doghouse. Doesn't necessarily mean the ship has sailed though.

Sylve and Shep have shown the ability to be serviceable, Brown looks like he just tries to find ways to derp games away.

Top 10 pick right now? He's been great but that's a bit far-fetched IMO

2016 5 star DT Edwin Alexander from Louisiana dropped LSU as one of his schools. Has a new top 3 and I beleive Alabama is his leader

ArDarius will be starting next year at WR. He won't have to spend almost all Spring next yr in the secondary because of the lack of bodies. I do agree with him at KR/PR though, he's electric.
