That's why I hate these gap times of year when there really isn't anything going on. It seems to work against us. However it works greatly for smaller schools or the likes of rocky top, because they can sell false enthusiasm of what they will build.
When the season starts, that is when we shine though. When reality hits and people see those schools aren't what they were said to be and that see highlight after highlight after highlight of Alabama dominating.... that's where we close out strong.

Signed? I'm lost.
Ridley committed to us during one of our big recruitment weekends. Definitely not a gap time.
For me "gap times" are when our coaches either can't have contact or are too busy with our players. There are no games (offseason), so the hype from other programs drowns out the reality.

Could care less about him. Dude was a botch in our historic run.
Never the solution. Always the problem.
Seemed to always be the victim as well, instead of his teammates, coaches, university and fans.

MSU is on the rise, Ole Miss is the bestest. The hype drowns out the reality. When reality sets, if they struggle, you'll see recruits waver.
If you ask me it's how we got Hand. We seemed a long shot, till Michigan fell apart and we surged and everybody wanted to "Beat Bama".
The momentum of winning does wonders for us. Every program is selling the "Bama is crap or bad" so when these kids see Bama great, they forget the whispers.
Especially Ridley. That kid sees Coop destroying teams on the way to a first round pick, he's going to be tough to pull from us. We just got to play well (offensively) and keep him grounded for a few more weeks (imo).

Does anyone know why we arent pursuing Darryl Williams?? (The OL from Bessemer). He looks good.
