Don't know if "take my talents" thing on ESPN was that classy but maybe that is just me.

There was honestly nothing wrong with it, but that's in my opinion. I don't see what was wrong with what he did.

1. He had every right to leave and owed/owes Cleveland nothing. They owe him everything.

2. The way he did it? Come on, it was all in good fun.

Thompson has admitted that he almost committed twice to UGA last year but held off because he didn’t want to rush his decision. He confirmed again on Thursday that the Bulldogs are still the school to beat.
“Georgia is still my leader, but people are pushing hard to knock them off the top,” he said. “Alabama is getting close. USC was a great visit, and they’re getting close. I like Clemson, Auburn and Florida State a lot.
“Right now, I think it’s Georgia, USC, Alabama and Clemson at the top. Then Florida State and Auburn are not far behind.”

Carver LB Wilson shines in Gulf Coast Regional Qualifier 7-on-7

G.W. Carver's 5-star linebacker Lyndell "Mack" Wilson showed why he's one of the top prospects in the country at the Gulf Coast Regional Qualifier 7-on-7 tournament at Foley High School on Thursday and Friday.

Wilson grabbed five interceptions in 10 games, one of which was one-handed and another was a diving grab. He, along with safety Melvin Tyus and cornerback Ryan Robinson, helped the Wolverines to a 6-3 record and to the second round of tournament play.

In pool play, the Wolverines went 5-2. Carver defeated Gadsden City 23-12, Priceville 21-13, Pace 25-8, Baldwin County 34-19 and Mary G. Montgomery 27-23. The Wolverines fell to Davidson 22-18 and Daphne 14-12.

In tournament play, Carver beat Tate 19-18 in the first round, and fell to Blount 17-13 in the second.

On offense, Carver coach Billy Gresham said wide receiver Darrion Steele was the top performer of the day. Other standouts were quarterback Mike McKenny and wide receivers Ismail Saleem and Xavier Lane.

"It was a great learning experience, especially after losing so many wide receivers, it was a great evaluation period against good competition," Gresham said. "A lot of guys stepped up and were competitive all the way through, which is what you look for. It's always good to go to Mobile because the competition is so great. We matched up well with everybody."

You have to believe in something. Remember when Auburn fans were all excited because Evans "blew up" Big Cam at camp?

I see UT's class this year the same way that I see OM's class from 2013. Are they really going to accomplish anything of note? No. It's a paper victory.

It wasn't classy at all.

However, he did everything right this time. He's clearly grown up in the last four years.

Having the best team talent wise in the NBA and the shittiest coach will do that to a man

I agree he grew a lot

I give it to them though, adding a play maker to your d-line and possibly another will help a lot, but you will need more than that....a lot more

I read somewhere that UT has no returning starters on the OL or DL. If that is true than this will be a long year. I pity whoever their QB will be

They will make it to 6-6 now that Vandy is a possible win
