QB Travis Waller of California expected to commit Tuesday to Alabama over UT and Notre Dame. UT still high on QB Quinten Dormady of Texas
So it begins...

I hope the Kelley kid doesn't have anything to do with Dormady.

Didn't the kid from Clemson visit recently?

Oh him. You threw me off with the extra E.
He's not coming to Alabama.

So who is better, Dormady or Waller?
Posted on 6/9/14 at 7:55 pm to bbeck
With Cornwell in last year I'd say Waller. Even if he never plays he can ccontribute heavily in preparing us against spread teams.

I don't think it's a clear cut case of who is better.
Waller has lit the camp circuit on fire this Spring earning an Elite 11 invitation while outperforming higher ranked guys like Town and Rosen.
Dormady has done extremely well too. He's answered all the questions about his injured shoulder in the process. He didn't get an Elite 11 invite but he's still really good.
Neither one of them play in a Pro-style offense, but I guess the staff wants Waller more due to his considerable upside.

He wouldn't come if he didn't think he would see the field. I hope we get him. Kid looks nasty.

Oh he's legit. He's been in my Top 5 for over a month now. I didn't think we'd get him but I kept him in there.

Yea I'm sure he wouldn't, but that has nothing to do with his chances Nor the question I answered. Just a feel good post.

I like them both. I was pro Dormady but I never thought we had a realistic shot with Waller (plus some of his 247 photos scream "pretty Ricky"). I would however be very happy with Waller. Would be nice to have something different in-between Cornwell and Eason (hopefully).

Waller just announced a Top 4 of Alabama, Northwestern, Notre Dame and Ohio State.
He's set a commitment date for July 1st. I guess he won't be committing tomorrow.
I don't see him picking Northwestern and Ohio State already has Joe Burrow in the fold.
His visit over the next 3 days and subsequent visit to Notre Dame later this month will determine where he lands.

Uga are setting up to get Eason. i think if we take waller behind cornwell that it will hurt us, but im ok with it because Eason isn't a garuntee. so take what you can get

I thought Eason was class of 16
