Some gold from the Charlot thread brought to you by our friends on the LSU recruiting board.

quote:

Awesome. It's always a hard decision for these young men to make especially when its another top notch SEC school like Bama. I hope he stays home because its nice to have the kids stay home and become hometown heroes the community backs you that way. I know in my area it is like that and I'm an hour from Patterson. If he goes to Bama his family will dress in crimson on game day. And that will be it everyone else will root against him. I've seen it happen with kids like Trovon Reed at Auburn. Stay home then automatically you are a celebrity with local credibility also with possible career opportunities if you plan to move back to louisiana after football. Im a Oil and Gas consultant and I can say 1st hand every client rep including myself "represent" 3 schools. LSU, Texas A&M, and Texas. Petroleum has more 250k a year plus jobs than any other sector in the industry. Although I went to Nicholls State University I bleed purple and gold... I also wasn't a world class athlete. My boss in Houston on my Last 2 projects was LSU alum. The one before that was Texas A&M. Also the fact that LSU has the most players on rosters in the NFL slightly above USC and 16 more that Alabama makes it a logical and morally ethical decision to stay home. LSU - Better track record of developing NFL talent LSU - Better career opportunities after Football if don't make NFL LSU - Plays tons of freshman every year along with Texas A&M Bama - Offers 250-500 scholarships per recruiting cycle Bama - "Dismisses" more scholarship players who don't play than any other NCAA team. Which is why they sign 30+ a year and never top the 85 mark. Sign em all and tell them they will all play then cut the ones who aren't good enough to start. Awesome motto! Bama - Has more 4-5 start recruits riding pine than any NCAA team

Dormady is down to Alabama and Tennessee. All other visits are on hold. He may make a decision very soon. Perhaps Wednesday.

No. You can afford to hang out on pay sites. Please don't clutter the public course for us poorz.

Unless you are willing to buy us a beer. Then you are welcome to stay (and will be our new best friend).

Bone says Ledbetter is solid and we keep him

Minkah isnt as solid as we all think, his parents were decked out in Bama gear in the stands, he will still take trips this summer, thinks we end up keeping him and so does Adam Friedman (who Minkah trusts with a lot of info)

Ridley may end up being the no. 1 WR in the country(rivals) and is solid

Godwin will return to Ttown in a couple of weeks
Deionte Thompson has a chance to become a 5* and one of the best overall DBs in Baltimore

We lead for Richmond

We are the darkhorse for Cowart and Jefferson, Cowart and Bo Davis speak daily on the phone
