I was listening to Finebaum the other day because I was bored, and he said something that I agree with (and damnit I hate agreeing with that bastard) he said that the Iron Bowl is more important to Auburn than it is to Bama.
After seeing this shite I couldn't agree more. You'd think the game was the national championship game for the way they milk it.

Yeah, they seem to have a lot of free time this off season with the dreaming up national championship and this prolonged iron bowl after party. Meanwhile we have won a national championship and are serious contenders for a second one this spring

Maybe, but you have to consider how physically gifted Robinson was. Ivey is a stud, but I don't know if I'd say he's the same caliber player as Robinson has the potential to be.

I'm not saying he's assured a top 3 spot by going there, he's not assured that by any school.
It's not gonna be where he picks that will determine that, it will be Ivey and his talent that will. Air Raid or triple option, what style he picks won't change his talent. All Auburn had to do is put him in a position to utilize his talent, but he still had to use that talent to get to that point.
It's easy to laud Robinson in hindsight, but there's a reason Ivey is the most sought after OT in the nation as well.
Ivey could pick FIU tomorrow and if he's as good as billed, he'd be a top 10 pick a few years later...

I still think Ivey picks Florida unless the have a really shitty season.
The bad thing is we will probably hurt Muschamp's chances of keeping his job when we kick their fricking arse in September.
But it'll land us CeCe Jefferson so it's a win on the field and a wash in recruiting.
