Probably. I don't know if that will allow us to take 26 this year though. Saban will most likely give it to a walk-on. Possibly Barrineau.

Apparently, Alabama fans aren't the only ones expecting big things from Florida State transfer Jacob Coker in 2014. The fact that he's yet to start a game on the college level didn't keep cbssports.com from ranking the junior quarterback as the No. 5 prospect at his position for the 2016 NFL Draft. For some perspective, consider that Coker ranks higher on the site's 2016 list than four returning starters the Crimson Tide will face in 2014: Florida's Jeff Driskel (No. 7), Mississippi State's Dak Prescott (No. 8), Arkansas' Brandon Allen (No. 10) and FAU's Jaquez Johnson (No. 37). Did I mention that Coker has been on the UA campus for all of a week?

Earlier this spring Ivey visited both Alabama and Auburn, which were his first visits out of the state as a recruit.
"It was a lot different because being down here in Florida everything is open and the weather is nice," said Ivey of the Crimson Tide and Tigers. "I went up to Alabama and it was nice, but it's not Florida, but it's nice. Distance really isn't going to matter because at the end of the day I am playing football and going to get a good education that is free."
Like a few other highly rated prospects in the Sunshine State, who at one time had Florida as their leaders, the Gators 4-8 season has Ivey backing off just a bit.
Currently he claims he has no one school leading and he isn't ready to start narrowing down his list of top schools. At this time he has no visits planned for the spring or summer, but is already starting to piece together his official visit destinations for this coming fall and knows four places that he will likely get to.
"I am not sure," said Ivey of future visits this summer. "I do know I will take all of my official visits in the fall. I haven't really thought about it a lot, but I know I will definitely be at Auburn, Florida State, Florida and Alabama. Right now I am just trying to pick that fifth school, but I really want to get out to LSU and see that."
Welp. I guess we can cross Ivey off the list.

It doesn't open up a spot for a late addition to the '14 class nor does it open up a spot in the '15 class via backcounting since the SEC rule counts LOIs regardless of whether or not they enroll.
It does project our roster to be 87 instead of 88. That's not going to be a problem anyway since we always lose 2 or 3 players to transfers or disciplinary issues during the summer. Like Saint said, probably will allow a walk-on to get a 1 year scholarship.
