He is still on the team, was there at Aday on the White team's roster sheet they handed out at the game
He was kicking before the game started and before the 2nd half started booming it

He's must be hurt if he didn't kick on A-day. I heard CNS speak before A-day, and he said not to worry about the punting because our punter is reporting this summer. Didn't mention Adrian.

Hmmm well I wonder if that means he has that much faith in another walk-on or in JK Scott, I know he did both in HS
I just watched pre-game in the north endzone Adrian punt one about a good 65 yds high hang time and another 65 - 70 yards and it might be an accuracy issue but both punts I saw stayed inside the hashes, then before the 2nd he was out there again literally looked like the best punter from practice punts I've seen at Aday in a while
I know P/K is such a crapshoot when trying to find someone, but I just hope if BW retires or moves on I guess I'd be ok with Schiano as a ST/TEs coach and recruiting specialist

Just watched Wimbush's film
He has a cannon, that's for sure. However, I am not a fan of these dual-threat prototype QB's for the Tide. It just seems ominous to me, like a disaster waiting to happen on the field. I'd be surprised if he ever started at UA if he commits.

Alabama has offered 2016 5-star OT Jauan Williams per 247Sports National Recruiting Insider, Ryan Bartow. Earlier in the day, the Tide offered his teammate Washington (D.C.) Archbishop Carroll, Richard Merritt. Williams was offered by Michigan State and Temple earlier in the day.
Williams ranks as the no. 11 overall prospect, no. 5 offensive tackle, and top rising junior in Washington D.C.
That high school team has a 5-star OT and a high 4-star OG. Talked about stacked.

The nation's top 2016 DT, Julian Rochester says he was shocked to learn of his Bama offer earlier this week. The 6-foot-5.5, 280-pounder was offered on Monday.
"I was like, 'wow, Alabama already?' I'm just a sophomore. I was real shocked. I was offered by Coach Thompson. They want me to call Nick Saban soon and talk to him. They said they like my size, effort, attitude, personality- all of it," he told BOL.
Rochester added that both Auburn and UGA have made him a priority early and that he grew up watching Clemson. The 5-star says he expects to wait until National Signing Day in 2016 to make a commitment. His Crystal Ball is split between Auburn and UGA each having two picks so far.

No point in starting another thread about it, but I just realized something, McCarron led the nation in YPA and Pass Efficiency vs Ranked teams.
LINK
10.9 YPA was the best. Mett was second with 10.2, followed by Winston with 10.0.
LINK
189.33 was AJ's nation leading rating. Shaw was second with 172.12, followed by Bridgewater with 172.12

I wasn't near a computer when the news broke yesterday and my phone is dodgy when it comes to posting links and videos so here are Wimbush's profile and highlights:

From this past weekend's NFTC in Washington, D.C.:
quote:
The Nike Football Training Camp stopped at Centreville High on Saturday, and it brought out some tremendous competition on the line of scrimmage.
Scout.com takes a look at the top performers at the event:
1. Matthew Burrell, OT, 6-5, 285, Woodbridge (Va.) C.D. Hylton
Skinny: Burrell was violent and forceful. He left his junior season needing to show he added a nasty streak to his game, and it came through in this event. His initial punch was incredible as he stopped defensive linemen in their tracks. Burrell played guard, so he didn’t have to worry about rushers lining up wide and getting around the edge, but he sat in his base well, his balance was very good and he moved well laterally.
2. Richie Petitbon, OG, 6-4, 301, Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga
Skinny: Petitbon, an Alabama commit, was nearly just as good as Burrell, and he showed a good initial punch, superb strength and an ability to recover after a misstep early on a rep. Petitbon is thick and used did a good job of staying in his stance and remaining patient and not reaching. When the defensive player got inside of Petitbon, he was able to use his strength finish the rep. He also bent well which allowed him to win the leverage battles.

Rivals250 QB Brandon Wimbush has been working towards a commitment for the past few months. An offer from Alabama may have delayed the Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter's Prep signal caller's decision.
"I heard little flurries about it maybe coming in last week but they called my head coach couple days ago and made it official," the 6-foot-2, 208-pound Wimbush said via text message. "My reaction was very similar to anyone else who gets an offer from ALABAMA!! Excited! I told Minkah right away."
Alabama commit and five-star defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick is Wimbush's teammate at St. Peter's Prep. Fitzpatrick immediately went to work on trying to make his current teammate his future teammate as well.
"He was telling me to at least take a visit because he feels like I would fall in love with the place," Wimbush said. "He was also talking about how we could possibly play together on the next level."
Penn State, Ohio State and Miami are the three schools that are linked to Wimbush most but there are some other schools that could be right in the thick of things.
"Stanford came by to watch me throw and they went back to report to coach Shaw," he said. "I'm waiting on that and then I will know for sure with them.
"Alabama is definitely a school I would like to consider and it's an honor being looked at by them," said Wimbush. "I don't know exactly where they fall in my standings.
Wimbush also mentioned Virginia Tech and Tennessee as possible contenders.
He does not have any visits planned at this time.

Alabama used the month of April to show the rest of the country it will not be stopping anytime soon on the recruiting trail.
Head coach Nick Saban secured seven commitments last month, including one from 5-star cornerback Minkah Fitzpatrick. Elite 4-star prospects such as receiver Calvin Ridley, linebacker Leo Lewis, guard Richie Petitbon and athlete Shawn Burgess-Becker also committed to the Crimson Tide in April.
Alabama has the No. 1 recruiting class in the country, according to 247Sports.
