Tosh Lupoi confirmed he's on staff via twitter. No official word from Alabama.
There's also an obsessed barner all over Lupoi's page.

We've had three predictions for Joshua McMillon to Bama in the past couple of days. One from Keith Niebuhr who typically makes pro Auburn picks.

Jefferson would be a DE in our system. One of the recruiting sites already has him listed as a DT. He and Hand on opposite sides would be scary.
Jefferson is another perfect 5 tech like A'Shawn Robinson is.

Basically, think about a Defensive End in a base 34. Outside shoulder of the Tackle. To refrain from going into too much detail, that's the role.

Typically the strong side DE in a 3/4. plays the 5 gap (outside shoulder of the strong OT). Part of his job is to hold ground and keep the tackle and tight end from getting a free release to the LB's.

do we use a 5 when we are in the 3-4

I think it will be good if Drake leaves after this year with Yeldon, and we get Jovon as a one and done. Helps clear up our logjam situation.

Yes, he plays in front of the SAM

Ok DL technique is a number system used to show positions on lining up

That pic has the 5 a little bit outside of where he lines up but generally in between the G and T slanted toward the G or the gap in between
ETA: T Rey explained it
taking the strong side OT

Yeah.

Our 3-4 base is NT - 1 gap / WDE - 3 gap / SDE - 5 gap / Jack - week side run down 6 and 7 pass down / SAM - strong side off the line at 7,8 or 9 depending on TE and run or pass down / Mike shade inside of SDE / WILL behind the WDE
Play side MLB hits the run hole and off side MLB scrapes to clean up anything left. Mike should be the run thumper and Will should play sideline to sideline with inside-out leverage (cut back stopper).

That picture reminds me of our defensive coach telling us to plug the a-hole one time

It was the only one that wasn't confusing like it was drawn up on a chalkboard

I know I am drunk now, because when I saw this all I could think was: "Get your fricking arm off our coach."
If he chooses us, I will of course forgive the familiarity.
