I think with the way Miami dropped, Clemsons current rank, SMU’s current rank, SMU would be out should they lose to Clemson.

I’m not holding my breath but you might be right. Clemson at 17 is not a good situation for SMU and if they lose they would have the same warts that is keeping Miami behind us.
