Gary has massive respect for the Alabama football program's quality and consistency. Gary also loves it when Alabama loses because it's a story. This is why none of us like him and they all think he's a homer.

I tend to agree with Robot Santa.
Apparently none of you remember him sucking the teet of Tebow. He sucked that boy's dick from day one and I found it annoying as hell.
I too will miss CBS and agree they have a great production, but CBS had a hell of a deal with the SEC, IIRC the contract with the SEC was 53 million when they did the last one. ESPN/ABC was over 300 million for this new contract. I hope ABC can keep the quality we saw from CBS.

I'd be fine with it.
Also, I wouldn't mind if Rick Neuheisel moved into a regular broadcast commentator slot.

I personally will miss the SEC on CBS. Hate Gary because he approached every comment from a negative, but he knows the game. Verne was fun and funny. Could destroy a name as bad as me. Most of all, the SEC grew into the dominant conference during the CBS run. ESPN will be bland and boring by comparison, with second rate broadcasters and color commentators. But I’m old and accept things change.
