I definitely said a few things about him that turned out to be totally wrong. I didn't quite go full Gump. But sometimes eating your words is a good thing.

This. But we have to take some shots down field. Bryce needs to work on that part of his game too. He has a lot of arm talent and a good QB mind for getting the ball where it's supposed to be. But when do we ever see plays where Bryce makes strong throws to the intermediate and deep parts of the field. He doesn't have the footwork to make those throws.

Everybody is acting like the team is a finished product … they will make mistakes but it is a talented team and some players will improve tremendously over the course of this season

Converted 2, 6, 6, 12, 7
1/2 on 4th down; converted 4th and 3, failed on 4th and 1
5 of the 6 3rd/4th down conversions were Bryce Young passes; the 6th was a BY scramble
223 3rd downs for Bama last year. Only WF (227) faced more
Another 17 4th downs
Bryce has been digging OB out of trouble in both down and distance every single game. They ask this kid to work miracles and he's answered pretty well. For my money, he's the best QB to ever walk those halls.

I believe it was back to back posessions in the second qtr where Bryce put the ball where it was supposed to be but Printice didnt sit down in the zone coverage, and then Bond dropped a ball that hit him in the hands. Each drive ended by lack of WR execution.
In this age of 7 on 7 WTF is up with all these WRs that cant catch ?
