Lose on Friday again? Does it matter how we end the year? If we go 1-2 to close out regular season, do we want to play until Saturday? Not sure I want to play on Sunday regardless. Fresher legs for NCAAs more important than a tourney trophy this year.

I'm still a believer in win anything you can.
Although last year, perhaps we benefitted from getting knocked out of the SEC tournament early, but I do remind folks that our first 2 NCAA tournament games were against a 13 and 12 seed.

SEC basketball tournament is even less relevant than the SECCG. It only benefits teams on the bubble of getting into the Big Dance.

I'd rather be fresh for the NCAA tournament.

Mark Sears needs all the experience he can get against good competition. Dude literally shuts down like Milroe when the going gets tough.

Not true. He willed us against Kentucky when we were struggling.

The SEC tournament is fun, but it doesn't really matter. This team will be judged by how they perform in the NCAAT. Ask Auburn how much their SEC tournament championship last year matterd.

Not sure why we allow obvious trolls to get away with it.

Somebody in November said that even once he's healthy he thought Grant Nelson's playing time would be minimal going forward.

I don't really care about the SEC tournament unless Bama wins it, and even then it's not that big of a deal. A regular season championship is what matters to me, that's what shows you were the best. Winning 4 games in 4 days against teams of varying levels of interest doesn't matter as much. Of course, the NCAA tournament matters more than either.

The SECT is important for bubble teams. That's about it. I don't think the committee even really cares.

So win it all or lose in the first round.
